Careful with bamboo material- bleeding risk
Thought I'd slowly convert to a more sustainable living and this was a start. Great toothbrushes- the bristles are very soft. I'd damage my gums but I don't think I'll have that issue with these brushes.I've noticed the bamboo will discolor and rot if you leave it in a cup holder without drainage. The bamboo is smooth and doesn't have splinters, but it's still bamboo and will wear down the mouth on contact. The first two days my inner lips bled and I had to apply aquaphor on the sores, but now I've been able to brush without that issue. Overall, I think this is good value and I prefer this over the disposable electric toothbrushes I've been using because of my arthritis. The toothbrushes are light and easy on the wrist, though I'd prefer if the handles were wider and thicker for an easier grasp.

Going Great
My family has been using these for a month now and they are good. They are medium-soft. The handles are not splintery or dry or cracked or anything else - they are smooth and easy to handle. Some bristles loosen and come out but not in a problematic way - because they are imbedded into natural wood, seems inevitable. The numbers are handy. We use homemade baking soda/coconut oil toothpaste or other 'natural' brands and this doesn't seem to change any usage issues. I'm very pleased - great value and feels sensible (and clean!).

The Numbers Are Genius! We Will Be Ordering Again!
These make me feel good about replacing my tooth brush every 100 days. With a house full of kids, the numbers on the toothbrushes are genius. The kids like picking their lucky number and now everyone knows whose tooth brush belongs to whom (is my grammar right?)The black bristles are perfect if you use charcoal to brush your teeth or if you just like the color black. The grip is sensationally smooth (an impressive form of tactile therapy for your morning and night routines). It’s also splinter free and just makes me feel cozy inside.I love them and will be ordering again.

Love it!
The first few times I used it it felt a little weird having the handle feel like wood. It glides differently than a plastic toothbrush. After using it for over a week I dont notice a difference in the feeling anymore. Feels like a normal toothbrush now. I didnt realize the amount of plastic I was using and just throwing away. This is one less thing in our landfills. I will definitely be buying again although it will be a while since it came with so many in the pack. The numbers on the brushes are so convenient for all the family members to know who's is who's.

love them
This is the third brand of bamboo toothbrushes I've bought and these are by far my favorite. First of all, they're a great deal - price-wise. They have the smoothest handles. The numbers are clear. Last time I got a brand with the number of leaves on the toothbrush instead of actual numbers. The leaf toothbrushes were really cute, but I definitely used the wrong toothbrush. So numbers is the way to go. I also love there's two colors so even easier to see my toothbrush. I will be buying these again.

Great concept. Poor deliverance.
Great concept, poor deliverance. The bristles come out every other time we brush our teeth. Very soft, and works well but the bristles are a huge problem for me specifically as I have nerve damage and cant feel my tongue, and swallowing plastic isn't good for anyone.

Really tried liking them
I tried liking these toothbrushes, but I'm not an eco-thumper like some of the other reviewers. Feeling good about it being "biodegradable" doesn't correlate to feeling good in my mouth. If using for other purposes like cleaning, I'd give them 5-stars.Pros:-Cheap-Bristles are nice. They are much less soft than I expectedCons:-Because the edges of the handle are not circular or rounded, the brush has potential for annihilating your mouth. If you're in a hurry, be careful. You might stab your mouth somewhere.-The nylon bristles are technically biodegradable...in 20-200 years or so. So don't think about tossing the brush into your compost or something similar.-If you need softer bristles or have a sensitive mouth, pass on these

Great value
I really like the product or its durability and how smooth it feels in my hand. The flat stick is a little hard to hold, but I got used to it quickly. After a couple weeks, there is some discoloration in the bamboo.
