While a sturdy, faithful representation of the series shield it does have some issues. The black lines on the shield aren't thoroughly drawn on enough as some of the silver beneath is visible in several areas.The shield center is only green when the light is turned on, otherwise it is white, and there is a crescent shaped portion on the top that does not light up at all so the entire center does not glow.Finally the straps on the back feel like rubber bands (they aren't, I'm just saying this to give you a point of reference) and I fear they could snap with even the slightest of force, also the glue holding the belts in place must not be very high quality as the belt is already separating from the shield and I just got it.It keeps two stars because at the time it is difficult to find a sturdy, accurate shield in comparison, but I'm sure as time goes on we will see higher quality versions popping up elsewhere.

The design is beautiful, however it didn't come with batteries, also the straps are put on poorly. They are a latex which helps it stretch, but the glue job is poor. The glue or whatever adhesive holding it peeled off and the shield could no longer function, may replace the straps with leather myself later on.

Id be lying if I said I wasn't skeptical about the purchase because I saw reviews about the light not working. I WILL HOWEVER MENTION that when I opened the battery pack there was a piece of paper that I took out that covered the battery and then it worked so for those who it didn't work for it might've been that. Product is smaller than I anticipated but the quality of it is legit. The light works and the shield looks exactly as shown in the image.

The shield is great for the price, the strap is a little flimsy. Its just for cosplay, so that doesn't matter, i just wish they would've used a buckle instead. All and all, definitely worth the money.
