the chubby stuff...
i got this for stitching nylon webbing...it's heavier than i use for my end servings, but after "serving" some slings to a couple of biners, i did check to see if my cams had enough space to accommodate....might go with this stuff next time...

Not for short ATA compounds
I'm giving it three stars b/c I think it could be good for longer bows. The reports I've read indicate it's great for finger shooters. I shoot a Mathews Z7 and was looking for a center serving a little more durable than Brownell's Diamondback. This might be a little more durable (didn't leave it on long enough to find out) but it suffers greatly from serving separation when using a string loop. I think it's probably due to the extreme draw angle of the short ATA along with the tension of the tie in the string loop that causes the separation. I served it as tight as possible but still had separation between the wraps where the string loop was tied in. Also, the Halo serves thicker than the Diamondback...I think the Diamondback wraps flatter. For comparison's sake the .019 diameter Halo actually layes on thicker than the .022 Diamondback. If you shoot a short ATA with a string loop, I would stay away from the Halo. Brownell's Diamondback is the best I've found so far . However, if you shoot a lot, you will need to replace the serving fairly often.
