Best value for money
Tried a cheaper product before this one and it simply didn't work. This is a great budget version of way more expensive brands. Lasers are clear and bright but as others have said it is as with any other class 2 laser, unusable in sunlight. I would say in overcast conditions you can see it for 2-3m. Indoors it works perfectly, furthest I've tested it is 13m but it's still very bright and I'm sure it would do twice that distance at least. Look no further if you don't fancy spending £200+.Wish it had more than 3 degrees of tolerance to self level but I've not found any others that do anyways. Being able to turn the beeping off would be great!Seller also replaced the item for me after a few months due to internal damage after a small drop so cannot fault the service.

Handle gently.
The unit is great and comes with a comprehensive set of accessories. Only complaint is that the casing feels fragile. The audible off level alarm is really annoying and un necessary as the line flashes when off level. Also the gimbal for the horizontal line is very mobile. Itbwould be much better if it was damped. Good piece of kit but delicate i think. I will be handling it with care.

Pretty good
I have a couple of dewalt laser levels, but this is better. The line is more visible, rechargeable batteries, lots of accessories and a great price.

Great
Bought one of these in 2020. Bought another one in January 2022 for a friend as a present as he liked mine. Works well. It is supposed to be able to take a knock but wouldn't risk it as looks like it would break.Well worth the money.Good distance on the laser.Enough fittings supplied with laser to fix to anything.Would suggest you buy a extendable tripod to add to usability

Good collection of kit.
The laser comes with a variety of useful tools that other levels do not provide. Price is excellent for what you get. I needed it to work with laser detector but couldn’t get it to work and was unable to find any specified by their support who were very helpful but couldn’t provide a solution. For this reason I had to return it but if I didn’t need this function I would have kept it and given 5 stars.

Nice device, limited use outside
I bought this to help set out a patio and garden design. Not a bad device but in daylight in the UK even on an overcast day, you can only see the green laser line over about 1-2m. A bit further if you use a white piece of paper and shade it from the sun. I had hoped it would be further but it seems all of these devices (including Dewalt etc) are limited to the laser power they can use and are of limited use outside. (Maybe there’s a safe limit to prevent eye damage?)Inside, it’s great - narrow beams with 360 horizontal and two vertical lines (some breaks in the lines due to the housing).Battery life seems ok but I’ve only used it for 10-15 minutes at a time over a few weeks but haven’t recharged it yet.Swivel tripod small base is ok although the finger rotation control is a little free and easy so slightly difficult to get accurate adjustments but not too bad. The scissor lift type base is ok but fiddly to raise and lower and with any weight in it, tends to stick.Gravity pendulum for self-levelling works well although the constant beeping when off-level limits is really annoying and would be nice if you could turn it off (instead having an led warning maybe).Overall, a nice bit of kit but of limited use outside - don’t believe it when a seller says it works outside ok!
