oh. my. gosh!!! Amazing!
I know that this book is written for teens/young adults but I got hooked on it after watching the Shelter series on Amazon Prime. This book is incredible!!!! There is so much heart to this book. Such a great mystery. Such great character development and SUCH an amazing ending. Highly Recommend!!! (Read the first two books first).

Thank you, Mr Coben, for finally finishing this story arc.
Thank you, Mr Coben, for finally finishing this story arc. I was annoyed at being manipulated into buying the next book *in the same story* but I am satisfied with the conclusion. But you do have to read all three,Although I didn't find Mickey Bolitar as compelling as Myron, that could just be due to the fact that I am not the target audience. I guess some of the disappointment has to do with the comparison. Perhaps, if the character were Mickey...Schwartz or something, I would not have been comparing. If I were able to completely dissociate the Mickey Bolitar story from Myron Bolitar I think I would have had a more positive experience. So, if this is your first Harlen Coben series, and you are in the YA crowd, I think you will enjoy this. If not, then perhaps my slightly negative comments will lower your expectations just enough to allow full enjoyment. I hope so because Mr Coben really is a very enjoyable writer.

Enough twists to keep me reading.

Although written for young adults, great story for adults too!
Harlan Coben is a great author with well constructed plots and very memorable characters! It’s great to have heroes that are not the “beautiful” people that are so common and expected in film and literature. This series is a fun, quick read- buy all three at once! You won’t want to wait for the next Amazon delivery!

As far as I know, this is the last book in the Mickey Bolitar series of books. Mickey is still on his quest to find his father, and to learn more about the "bat lady" who appeared in book 1. He has joined the basketball team, but it is not everything he hoped for. As read all three of these books, I thought why he doesn't he tell his uncle about what is going on. I realize if Myron got involved, Win would get involved, and they would solve everything, and there would be nothing for Mickey to do. Several times, I thought, I would like to smack that boy for the way he treats his uncle. I do not know any teenagers and have no idea how they really are.

Too many loose ends
I was enjoying this series until I got to the end of this book. It's written as if there are more books coming. There are way too many loose ends. Honestly, if I knew it was going to end like this... I wouldn't have read this trilogy. I was invested, and now I feel cheated.

Not really for adults, but a decent read anyway.
I am an adult, and like Cobens books. Though this book is aimed at youth, the book has a simple, uncomplicated quality to it. I enjoyed the book, even though it felt very lightweight through the whole series. Light entertainment. If reading without being challenged along the way is OK for you, you will enjoy the book.I wouldn't be able to read 10 books like this in a row, but once in a while, a book like this is perfectly enjoyable.

excellent 3 book series for young adults
I purchased Book 1 locally not realizing it was a) a series, b) for young adults. That said I loved the characters, suspense, and plot. Purchased books 2&3 from Amazon used. Both arrived fast in great condition. All 3 were very fast reads and hard to put down. I hated that there weren't more in this series. Very refreshing (especially during current tough times in the US) to read well written, suspenseful books, absent of serious violence & sexual content. Highly recommend for teens & adults.

interesting book, but very far fetched and unreal
An accumulation of adventures of a teenager, so farfetched and quite unbelievable that in the end of the story you feel almost cheated. Many things feel still unsolved, as if there is a fourth book still coming out to cover all the open ends.

STORY REVIEW
WOW! One of Harlan Coben's best. The third book in the Mickey Bolitar series. I am hoping that there will be more. The writing is amazing. I felt as though I was right there in the middle of the story, I could "see" everything that was happening. Coben puts 'pictures' into your mind and keeps you guessing throughout the entire book. A twist and turn on every page but not that you lose, or get lost, in anything. The explanations of the characters, their reasonings are brilliant. I finished this book in one day, just unable to put it down until I knew the result. And yet it is left open for more......

It was a good mystery ride by coben
It was a good mystery ride by coben. Until the last chapter he keeps us wondering what's about to be revealed next. Although there are few loose ends left unexplained in the plot, it is worth a read.
