I knew I wasn’t going to get much out of this motor for being so cheap! But didn’t expect it not even work correctly on the first day! The forward throttle response is ridiculously bad! When I barely press the throttle it will go full speed! Or I could be pressing full throttle, and the motor barely spins, no consistency with the forward throttle response! even tried a different controller and receiver and I got the same results! reverse throttle response is prefect!

For starters amazing product… with a 3s 11.1v LiPo it was able to make my stock 2wd slash do wheelies. A fairly quiet esc fan and efficient motor I was able to put down laps with this motor esc combo. BUT, I do wish the output shaft was stronger because it did twist and snap off which is very disheartening I was hoping to use this truck on the 4th of July holiday. Hence the reason why it gets a 4 star review would’ve been 5 if the shaft didn’t snap like a twig.

works great on 2s no heat issues wouldn't suggest 3s. Motor bearing went about 4 months in. Was abused roughly and id say for the price this set up worth it for a 2s truck or car

Brushed might be better then these! Yes they started ok but Ive had one ESC bad out if the gate and had the leads on a motor melt the boot and the motor was only 160, ESC will not set throttle end points and when the pair get warm your car will get stuck if it can't roll a bit before applying power, just stutters going nowhere and needs a literal kick start! Equally crap in 2wd & 4x4. BTW all this is on 2s 50c lipos. Spend 110 on a hobbywing, get what you pay for, and enjoy your toy, these have been a regular pain. Don't buy it.

There are no instructions that come with this motor esc set. The power switch has no program button or third wire which would indicate a program button would be available which was a lesson for me. There is no program card sold for this esc and no instructions on how to manually submit changes to esc.This caused a hesitation at throttle and the punch level the esc is set at is very low so it reaches full throttle slowly causing little to no throttle control.If there is a way to program this esc you won’t be able to find out due to no return emails or messages when trying to reach the manufacturer. When they say don’t hesitate to contact then do so before buying a product or you might get no answer as I did. Thanks for reading and please leave reviews so I don’t go through this again.
