Upgrade Time Again!!!
When used in the right application, these satellite speakers are the best small speakers that I have heard. The drawback (if one can call it that) is you need to use a bass module or subwoofer to augment the lower frequencies under 150-120 Hz but the midrange is where these speakers shine.A word regarding the Min 22 versus the previous models (Min 20 & Min 21). This is a 3rd generation Minx Model that uses a 4th generation 2 1/4" BMR (Balanced Mode Radiator) used as the top driver and a long throw woofer as used in the previous Min 21 for the bottom driver. Cambridge Audio claims (as in the previous generation Min 21) this top BMR had been updated. If, like me, you have gone from using the Min 20 to the Min 21 and remember the difference you heard, you're in for a real treat when you upgrade to the Min 22. First off, if you can believe it, you are going to hear more coverage (Dispersion). I know you're wondering. How can I hear more dispersion when the Min 20 & 21 had pretty good coverage already? Well, this new speaker's dispersion is so much improved, it covers a wider area more evenly. A good test when comparing the Min 22 to the previous models is this. If you listen to a lot of stereo music like me, you will notice an increase in surroundedness when you listen to many of your favorite music tracks. The Min 20 & 21 were pretty good at this already but it's like you are listening with your rear surround speakers on when they are emitting no sound at all. The other things you will notice is the sound is quite a bit smoother in the upper most frequencies that previously had an edge, vocals and midrange, in general, are more pronounced, a deeper / wider soundstage and the separation between instruments let you hear into the music more, being able to pick individual sounds out better.I purchased these speakers the first week of July and have been playing them constantly with music, movies and tv. In the past week alone, I've heard an even greater improvement in smoothness and separation. I will say that I was very hesitant upgrading from my previous Minx Min models because I wasn't so sure there would be this much improvement. I'm happy to say, I'm so glad I did! Congratulations to the design team at Cambridge Audio for their perseverance on improving an already great little loudspeaker. :)

The clarity is crazy
With almost zero broke in I’m blown away. These 2 1/4” speakers put out some sound! Do they get low? No, rated for 120hz. You’re going to need a sub, but muh goodness the clarity on these things. I was looking to upgrade my Logitech speakers. I thought these came as a pair, and I wish I wouldn’t have hooked this up. I couldn’t unhear what I just heard. Now how do I put it back in the box? It’s not even a fancy amp, it’s a Logitech Z906, and I wanted more clarity out of the center, check that box!

Great little sattelite speaker at a modest price
I already had 3 of these Min 22 speakers in an older 5.1.2 Atmos setup. However, I moved to a new home that didn't already have in ceiling speakers. So I bought 4 more of these to get my 5.1.2 Atmos system back up and running. Build quality and finish are excellent. These little guys put out an amazing sound for such a small speaker. Note that they will not play exceptionally loud in a large room, nor will they produce any real bass to speak of on their own; they need to be paired with a good quality subwoofer. The color matches my living room décor so it definitely complements the room. Would in-ceiling and in-wall speakers been a better décor friendly choice? Absolutely. But I didn't want to spend a bunch of (wasted) money on running wires in the walls (would have been difficult & expensive). The speakers are unobtrusive and look good. And I now have matching speakers all around, so no issues with sound/timbre differences. Recommended.

Not a good buy and very poor sound
I wanted a passive speaker to use near PC monitor while I work. I ordered a black pair, and received one speaker in white. Before sending it back to exchanged for what I ordered, I hooked it up to check the sound. It was awful. Distorted with no clarity. It was rattling/buzzing while not over driven. It was unlistenable. Hopefully it is defective. Not a good impression. I returned the next day and ask for my money back. I'm glad I bought from Amazon with the no hassle returns. The speaker is Not worth the money. I give it zero for 'value for the money'

Very good surround sound speakers
I added two Cambridge Minx Min 22 Satellite speakers as rear speakers in our surround sound system. We also used the separately purchase Cambridge brackets. The sound is surprisingly loud and clear from such small speakers. I highly recommend these speakers, particularly if you are concerned about speaker size, performance and quality.

Excellent speakers
These speakers are much better than any Bose speaker. They are definitely worth the money.
