JUST About PERFECT
Chef is 28g lighter than my old Messermeister. A little more "Asian" in feel.Super sharp, of course.Parer is perfect too. Both fit my large hands nicely. Real lookers! Expect some staining tho, even after washing and drying promptly. Great price on set.Love the info on the special steel. It claims to be sturdier than high HRC Japanese steel, but I'll be using my Messermeister to cut through winter squash, etc.Wood block is nice, but you have to insert knifes sharp side down, instead of up as I usually do. Guess that's ok, but it almost hurts.

Super sharp and quality feel
Great knives, excellent so far! Impressed with the finish and feel of this set. Cannot beat for this price. I use Global knives at home but needed a couple for a different location and find these work just as well.

Nice looking & Sharp
Nice looking & Sharp. I normally just put all my knifes in the drawer, since this have a nice display, it stay there which actually help to keep the knife in better condition. Knife is actually very sharp, I cut my nail off when cutting veg... wow... a little scary but becareful. One of the better but till not my favorite knife, better than some, but is okay. do what's expected. Probably good as gift since it does looks nice on the display.

Cangshan Thomas keller series
Knives are well balances, sharp as all get out & well made .. The block they are displayed in is very cool looking but it's a bit tricky getting the knives in & out of the storage slots .. Over all a very nice product for the price paid ..

Good quality, great value
So far, these knives have been great. They hold their edge well. The blades seem a bit thinner than the Wüsthof set we’ve been using for the past quarter century, but they are a fraction of the price as well (at least when you can buy them on sale). Time will tell if they have decades of life in them, but at this point, I’m very pleased.

Poor heat treatment ? Edge rolled !
This should be excellent steel. The edge rolled on this cut? Idk if this is a bad batch of factory seconds but cutting through the wrapper rolled the edge on a new knife.Price may have been too good to be true or this is QC issue. The cutting board is rubber so not a factor. Stropping fixed the problem but I may need to do a hardness test and return this item. It is possible that excessive heat during factory sharpening ruined the temper (removed carbon).I like the geometry but something is wrong.

Cutting beauty
These knives are sharp. They are well balanced and the round grip works great which is a very important feature for me. They are easy to wash, rinse as soon as you're done with it. Dish detergent and hot water can be used. The big knife and the small knife goes well on the stand. The white walnut colour makes it look amazng. The knife is an incredible processor of both meats and vegetables. The price is a bit on th high side for me. But I am not an expert. All I can say is that the knives are of grat quality. It is hsarper than all the knives I used before. I could feel the difference when i hold the knife in the hand. Very prowerful knife. I highly recommend this product!

Super sharp.
Very beautiful knives and you get two, one big knife and one small knife and a wooden knife block, the quality of these knives are amazing and extremely sharp and thick with a good weight and can cut a sweet potato with ease and little force to do so. Overall impressive extremely sharp knives but bit pricey for only two knives and the wooden knife holder block wasn't very impressive in comparison to the knives and let the look of the knives down but all round good quality and feel to this knife set.

Sharp, Stylish, Pricey
This set of two knives comes boxed and with a wood block to keep them in.I do loads of cooking and love watching favourite chefs on telly and following their recipes from books, but I have a big problem using 'proper' knives. I've stuck with a small, straight with curved end and very sharp style knives for years and I just can't handle a big bladed chopper. I find these no different from the big cumbersome ones in holding and being comfortable to cut and slice. They are comfortable in the hand but the large and long blades make them unwieldy for me. They are stylish and the block looks good in the kitchen but, again, I have a problem with leaving knives out on display – they should be put away in a drawer out of dust and harm's way. Maybe I've read too many murdery books.I've tried with these knives, I really have. The large one is of no practical use to me as I feel I have no control of the size of blade – I only want to use the first four inches or so and the height is annoying. The smaller one is better but too long for me. THIS IS ONLY ME, it's a habit of years and I can do anything with a paring knife but feel like I'm trying to peel an apple with a sword with large knives. The blades are super sharp, the look is very stylish and professional and if you can afford £200 then I'm sure they are a super set to use or buy as a gift – would be a fabulous wedding gift.

Great set, huge price
These knives are RIDICULOUSLY sharp! An incredible set, they can turn even the most crummy kitchen into the set of a Chef program. They look good, they feel good - the weight is so perfect you can literally feel the difference when you pick up an old "normal" kitchen knife - and they perform good. The whole entire feel of the knife in use is one of professionalism.Everything from the weight, to the shine, to the size, to the sharpness, right down to the way the signatures blend in to the steel.Even the block has a centre of gravity that means it barely moves when you take out/sheathe a knife, yet feels light to the touch and incredibly well made.Pure perfection.I have seen many videos online where you see knives so sharp they can cut through paper without pressure - well this is a knife set that is sharp enough to cut paper simply by looking at it!My sole concern is the price.I am not entirely convinced the £209.95 price tag (at time of review) is justifiable.Do not get me wrong, the knives are exceptional quality and style, and will last for many years (I hope) - I just do not see where that price justifies itself.
