Every time I go to St. Helena, California in the heart of the Napa Valley, I HAVE to stop by this quaint but luxe little chocolate shop. I am always eager to see what creative, beautiful window display they have dreamed out of chocolate this time! They always go all out for the holidays. The only thing I don't like, is trying to decide what next to try from the cases. I've been there multiple times, yet still haven't tried them all! (ps. While these truffles are outstanding, check out their website and order yourself some s'mores too. They are out of this world).Knowing these are my favorite, my husband had them design a whole box to spell out "will you marry me?" when he proposed. After that, we had to share them with our guests at our wedding.These chocolates are as fresh as can be, hence they only ship 2nd day so you are sure to enjoy them within just days of being made. Indulge and enjoy!

They are very good chocolates, just not quite as fantastic as the recent Consumer Reports review claimed. If you want to try some chocolates, you probably won't be disappointed.

The chocolates were not anyhting special and not worth the cost. They were more gimicky than a special chocolate--mixing different kinds of centers versus a very high end chocolate.

Woodhouse Chocolate-the Best in the Land
My wife is a chocolate lover. She knows cheap chocolate from the good stuff. She told me flat out that this was the best she has ever eaten because it's handmade. The tastes are AWESOME! Now she wants to know when I'm getting her another order! Egads-what have I created? Great job, Woodhouse folks!

Better than Godiva, by far
These hand crafted chocolates are so amazingly good. Better than Godiva! Fresh and interesting new flavors that I have not seen anywhere else.
