Oxbow Enriched Life Chew Proof Glass Water Bottle, 8oz / 237ml

I haven't had any issues with this water bottle leaking, dripping or not flowing properly. I was so pleased with the first two I bought that I ended up buying four more. I currently have six of them set up for my rats, and they all work perfectly.I also like that these bottles are solidly constructed with thick glass and sleek metal, especially since glass is less likely to collect bacteria than plastic, and there's no risk of the metal getting chewed up. The floating rubber disk has been helpful in quickly determining the water levels, and it doesn't fall out when I wash the bottle, which is a problem I've had with smaller (rubber ducky-style) water level indicators.I've used several brands and types of water bottles, and this one is by far my favorite and my go-to small animal water bottle. I trust this bottle to work properly and deliver water consistently and safely to my small and furry companions. If you've been let down by other water bottles, I highly recommended that you try this one.

We have 3 guinea pigs that have chewed and destroyed more water bottles then I can count soaking their cage when they break. I love these bottles. We have had these same 2 bottles for over a year now without any issues. We've had no issues with leaking whatsoever. One of our pig likes to pull on the ends and has gotten the balls out of a few other bottles but as much as she pulls these have held up. They are a heavy glass that is easy to clean. I use an old toothbrush and Dawn to scrub them out every week. I wish we would have found these a few years ago! Highly recommend.

We have gone thru several water bottles because our rescue squirrel likes to chew everything she can get her mouth on. This bottle is indestructible , easy to hang, clean and refill! Thanks

When we first got this for our gerbils and connected it using the spring this bottle dripped constantly. Then I removed the spring and just used the wire support which put the bottle at an angle from the cage and it stopped dripping. But this is very dangerous as the bottle can tip very easily without the spring. And the spring is very tight. I struggled a lot getting it connected.Since using this for a longer time it constantly drips when it is secured to the cage properly. We have tried everything. It dripped a good 5 oz into the cage is a couple hours. I have stopped using it and am trying another brand bottle.

After my two breeder rats became so lethargic that they were barely moving and their new pups DIED, I suspected disease... until I noticed THIS water bottle had not dispensed a DROP since the last time I filled it (3 days prior). I took it apart and it started working again... found a forum online that says these can basically get an airlock in the metal tube that results in this. The poor things were thirsting to death. If you choose to buy this, BEWARE of that possibility, and always check to ensure bubbles are coming up as the ball is turned.

The product is great sadly I had to return it because there was an error on my part. I wouldn't say it's leak proof, that it isn't possible of having a leak, where the ball is located. Where the ball is its going to have a few drips here and there but not often. In terms of leak anywhere else I didn't see any. A lot of these types of bottles are plastic and it's great to have glass one.

I already knew that I made the wrong purchase when I opened it. Not the seller's fault, only mine.I filled it with water and when I went to attach it to the cage, it leaked, so I had to fix that. Then the drinking stem is too short, could you afford to make it just a bit longer? It will work but my Guinea Pig has to struggle with it.I guess I have higher expectations from Oxbow products, but sometimes things just do not meet our expectations. I know all companies are cutting back but sometimes it makes no sense.Thank God, they redeem themselves with their food products.

Great bottles for my 5 guinea pigs. They do not leak. One spring thingy broke. Easy enough to clean with baby bottle brush from the dollar store. 8 oz.

Huge! Very sturdy I can tell holding it that it’ll last for years to come. Has good cage grips that allowed me to manuver it around to fit my cage how I wanted. Very nice!
