Bought two of these to fuel our fleet of boats and watercraft. Much better than dragging hoses around. These things are well built and heavy duty. Various mounting options, just be creative to achieve the setup you want. Had a couple questions from the company, quick replies, excellent information and superb customer service! Kimberly B is an asset to that company. One idea for users, be smart, find a cover for winter or for when not in use to protect the hose from UV rays, also use a UV protectant to treat your hose and help it last longer. I've been using this hose real daily for over a year now on the back of a service truck and I've been satisfied with it. The long 65' hose is handy but it does take some of the GPM away since the fuel has to transfer a long distance through a small hose. My 20 gallon per minute pump does about 4 gallons a minute with this setup. I usually fuel about 10 gallons at a time into mini excavators so it's not a big deal. Overall, this reel is great!

5 stars for actual product, but it is not as described and have not been able to contact anyone for help on this item. It says 1” inlet/outlet NPT, but it is not. I believe the end of the hose where you would connect the nozzle is 3/4” NPT and the end of the short hose that would connect to the pump is a female possible garden hose thread. All of my fittings are 1” NPT, so I can’t confirm what they actually are except for that fact they’re not 1”. Since I’ve been unable to contact anyone to confirm the size and thread types — I have ordered adapter fittings in every single type of thread in multiple sizes.. now costing over $2,000 to get two of these connected to my Fill-Rite pumps. I believe this is a five star product if I could get these fittings figured out, but I’ve exhausted all other options, so this is a last resort to attract someone from support.

So far I don’t have any dislikes. It’s a well built reel and the hose is heavy duty. Wish I would have bought it sooner.

I ordered wrong one

I have an existing 75' hose that is pretty beat up from years (okay decades) of light agricultural use. It is a pain to roll up and gets kinked. I got this as a replacement for it. The hose is exactly as expected and will work fine for water as planned. The reel itself weighs as much as the hose. I don't yet have a way to mount and dismount this seasonally (don't want to keep hoses outside off season, they just wear faster from the UV and freezing). As built I can mount it to concrete pad on the ground, but mounting this on a wood structure would be questionable. Even with large carriage bolts it would rip off whatever it was attached to.I may actually permanently mount (bolt it) to a small trailer frame and just park it in place for this season then roll it away off season. Also without a second person or some rigging to hold it, you can plan on removing the entire length of the hose to reduce the weight while installing the reel. The stop works just like stops on gas/diesel lines (which this can also be used for).A solid industrial product. Expecting it to last at least 15 years.

This reel is startlingly big and heavy. I was a little shocked when it arrived, to be honest. I mean, when you include the hose, this thing weighs at least a hundred pounds, and has dimensions of about 24” X 24” X 15”. So yeah, it’s a substantial reel.Installing the reel is very straightforward and only took about 30 minutes. I installed it on the wall of my shop and it was very difficult to manage weight-wise, so I did need to get someone to help me lift it up and bolt it to the wall.This reel comes with 65 feet of heavy duty 3/4 inch rubber hose. So, if you plan and place the reel in the optimal location, 65 feet should almost certainly get you anywhere you might need to go.Pulling the hose all the way out does take a bit of effort, but thankfully I’ll very rarely need to do that. I generally shouldn’t need to pull out more than about 30 feet. Retracting the hose back onto the reel is pretty much effortless. You just need to do your best to get the hose back on the reel evenly.The flow rate with this setup is very good. While the hose is 65 feet long, I think the 3/4 inch inside diameter of the hose allows for all the flow you could possibly want. With a feed pressure of 40 PSI I am certain you could easily achieve a flow rate of at least 25 gallons per minute.If you are looking for a super heavy duty/commercial hose reel, I don’t think you’re going to find a better one than this. I would have to believe that this is probably as good as it gets. I am very happy with this hose reel.
