Natashas Cafe Wool Greek Fishermans Cap

I work in an office and wanted something smaller than my fedora but nicer than than my ball caps. This seemed to fit the bill. My hat size is just a hair over 7 3/8 so I wasn't sure whether to order that size or the next one up. Based on reviews and information on other sites, I went with the 7 3/8. Initially it was pretty tight but has since stretched to where it fits comfortably but is tight enough I'm not worried about it blowing off in the wind. I ordered this just after the first of the year 2014. I live in the St. Louis area and we've had a particularly nasty winter. This hat has kept my head nice and warm. Now that it's warmer out, the hat seems to breathe nicely. Not sure how it will do during summer. I regularly get compliments on the hat. It's not what you see everyone wearing.

I like the look of this cap, and it's very warm (which is important to me with my bald head). I happen to have a large head, and this came in a size that is very comfortable to me. It's often not easy to find my size. I actually got my first one from a thrift store. One of my good friends commented on how much he liked it, so I got this one for him for Christmas. (He, too, has a large head.) It's a neat looking cap that is comfortable and warm--what else would I want?

Wow just... WOWThis hat is amazing. it is completely authentic, super great quality, and looks great. It arrived 3 days after I ordered it, a full 3 days before the soonest estimate for arrival time amazon gave. It is great quality hat, all the stitching and everything is perfect. Comes with a authenticity tag, Aegis Made in Greece. I love it. Wore it out running errands and then to work and actually got alot of compliments on the hat. If your considering getting a greek fishermans hat this is the one for sure. My only complaint is it is just a little tiny bit large. maybe order one size down from normal unless you normally wear a looser fitting hat

This is the same Aegean version available from several vendors. Although the picture makes it looks as if the brim is wider than the band, this is NOT the case. (The Scala hat DOES have about a 2-inch wider brim, if that's what you're looking for.) Also, the material is not very heavy (although the hat is well made), and might not be warm enough for winter wear, or heavy rain. (I ended up with 2 of these, from different vendors, and sent them both back when I got the Scala.)

My husband has worn these hats for years. I forgot to check his hat size, and ordered him the biggest one available because he said he had a big head. Well, his head was not that big. Since it was a fine hat, we gave it to someone who needed a warm hat.I did not contact the seller, as it was my fault for ordering the wrong hat size. Good quality hat.

I had one of these a few years ago and made the mistake of letting someone borrow it on a cold night to keep warm. Big Mistake! This hat is for me.......no more lending out. It was well shipped and packed. It is made well with wool for crisp evenings and cold days. It is not a summer cap. It is the identical classic looking Greek Fisherman's Hat. Make sure to select your proper size on the chart. Mine arrived true to the proper size request. I am pleased and this one is for my bald head on crisp evenings in the fall, winter and spring....as well as eventual colder days.

This is my favorite hat because it is very authentic looking and very durable. I automatically ordered their largest size thinking no one had a bigger head than me. However, I realized later after wearing it that I should have measured my head and ordered a centimeter tighter. All I need now is a Greek fishing boat.

Locks in the warmth and is very stylish, perhaps I may have miscalculated my head size, but it was a little snug upon the first few weeks of wear. Eventually it broke in a bit, but I wish it was a little bit deeper. Other than that, very solid construction and again very warm!
