It must work haven't noticed any rust on my reloading dies

I have been using Zerust products to protect my tools for more than 25 years. It works well if you pay attention to the notes on volume and lifetime of the cartridges. These plastabs are for small spaces, and have a 1 year estimated life. They will last somewhat longer, but, for the price, my tools are worth more than the replacement cost.I use these for some good wood planes, which, for now, at least, are stored in the original cartons. I note that they came wrapped in Zrust paper.I use many Zerust products. My table saw is rust free in southern NC because of their table saw cover (5 year life). My drill press has a modified Zerust bicycle cover on it, as does my bandsaw. All of these would have a significant rust problem (experience) if not for Zerust.These plastabs are one more product to make my life less corrosive!

Easy to use and good value. I place a couple of them in my gun cabinets with double sided tape. I expect they will do what they are supposed to.

Put in gun/ tool cases and no more corrosion worries

I was wondering about these Tabs when they show up in certain new guns I had purchased. So...I did some research and sure enough they simply lay a micro-amount of lubricant protection onto your particular weapon as it sits in either your Case, Safe, Lock Box, etc. I was thinking you would get more for what you are paying for...but 10 of these Tabs will last me a long time (up to aprox 2 years)....so no probs I guess. Now I have one or two of these in Every Case that has a gun in it. Just a little added protection for your investment. Especialy if that wepon is going to be laying around for a while. Under $10 Bucks...Get It !

I bought these because I was moving across state lines and needed to have all my firearms cased up for extended periods. I've heard a lot of horror stories about foam padded gun cases ruining guns that are stored in them for long periods of time because the foam actually holds moisture up against the metal, corroding it. Knowing my guns had to be stored in these cases for 2+ weeks, I didn't want to take any chances with the summer humid air and I bought these and tossed one in each pistol case and a few in each rifle case. The guns all made the trip perfectly unscathed and could never tell they had been in foam padded storage for 2 weeks. Maybe I'm a bit paranoid, but with how expensive firearms are (and in some cases inability to be replaced, such as my Class III items) it's cheap insurance to get these little Plastabs. Now that I've moved i use them in my bed side pistol safes to keep the contents safe as I don't have powered heating rods like I do in my rifle safe.
