The installation process was seamless, once I found a diy video for on YouTube. The spudgers proved helpful during install though I ended up using a card from my wallet for the majority, as you need to keep a gap from the back and housing trim to ensure separation occurs. I assume other tools of this nature are of built well though it was my first try attempting a repair of this nature.The package also included the crucial gasket seals to waterproof your device. Use care removing stock and applying the new. I used 91% isopropyl alcohol which is safe for electronics and evaporates; cleaning the surface. I used it to remove residue on the housing and before replying the new seals.My only real gripe world be the package does not include a matching fingerprint sensor, so I was stuck with the midnight black color stock on the V40.I will definitely but from then again it I need to replace a rear panel on future LG or other smartphones going forward!

Should have come,with instructions, now I have to pay someone to fix my phone

Easy to use and great bonding. A heatgun is a must for removing the old one and the install because its a heat activated adhesive but you have to keep the temperatures low .So be patient and go slow and it turns out good

Great fit, install was easier than I thought. No additional adhesive or install materials needed. Used a heat gun and utility knife as per YouTube video. A hair dryer would have been fine too. Now it looks brand new!
