These are advertised as being for various sports, including horseback riding. As someone who has worked with horses for over two decades, I can say without hesitation that they are NOT for horseback riding. The material on the palm and fingers is very slick and would not be safe for a child learning to ride. They would easily loose their grip on the reins and could end up in a very dangerous situation. Furthermore, the actual gloves I received include no indication that they are for riding. Please change your Amazon posting. This is dangerous!

These riding gloves fit well, looked nice, and kept her hands warmer than when she didn't have gloves on.... But the grip on the palms is not sufficient for holding reins. It seemed that every spot where she needed extra grip was smooth and the reins slipped in her hands a lot.

I ordered these for my daughter to use at riding lessons when the weather is a bit chilly. She was excited when they arrived as she LOVES the blue color. The gloves fit well and have flexibility for easy gripping and mobility while also offering just enough warmth. She only wore them a few times before Spring arrived but so far they have held up well and will be the perfect riding accessory come Fall and cooler weather again.

These are good gloves for sports like football. Not winter gloves like expected, but we needed for sports. They do run a bit small I would recommend getting them a bit bigger. My son is nine and we got a small, they were snug.

These gloves were for my daughter at horse camp. She says they were comfortable, light weight and kept her hands safe. They were helpful with holding onto the reigns, grabbing hay and preventing splinters. I got the large because it says 10-12 years of age for size but they were a bit long on the fingers. They should fit better next year.

I purchased these for my 8 year old son. They fit him perfectly but didn't do much for winter riding. He still had to cut his ride short because his fingers got to cold.

I bought these gloves for myself as I am a petite woman and adult gloves rarely fit properly; these fit well and prevented me from getting hand blisters during my last riding lesson. So far so good!

Bought to protect kid's handing while running. They said fingers and hands still cold with gloves. Not sure if hands were already cold when put them on or if hands became cold after wearing. They haven't worn them much so take their comment with a grain of salt.

My daughter is 11 yo and these did not fit. They were too long in the finger area but too tight in the wrist so we couldn’t even let her grow into them.

Theses gloves are well made and our 5 year old uses them for playgrounds when the weather is cold. She can easily put them on and take them off and she really loves the colour.
