Great addition to white rice
This has become one of my favorite grains to mix with rice. As someone who grew up eating Korean white rice every day, switching to healthier options hasn’t been easy but this Kamut made it much more enjoyable. I mix it with white or brown rice and let it cook together in the rice cooker with a splash of olive oil. The texture is chewy, the flavor is slightly nutty, and it keeps me full longer. It’s packed with nutrition, and I love that it’s organic. I always keep this stocked in my pantry now.

Great flavored grain.
Great tasting Kamut. I grind the grain in my mill and use it in my sourdough bread and pizza dough. Not “earthy” tasting but definitely adds a lovely flavor. I like adding it with other grains in the bread for flavor as well as a different nutritional profile. Grains are clean.

My mistake
I thought this was kamut flour, but it's actually the wheat berries. I kept it because I can grind it to make bread but it's a pain when I could have just had flour. I guess it pays to read the labels more carefully.

Beautiful clean wheat
Lovely wheat. I mix 1 part Kamut with one part hard white and 1 part soft white for a perfect all-purpose blend. It makes a great coating for pork chops and chicken tenders. The taste is great and the grains are beautiful. I believe these grains would flake up for a wonderful all grain cereal.

Very clean grains.
I mill these and use mainly for making homemade cream of wheat. It's always very filling. They have such a smooth creamy texture and a good flavor. I also sometimes use them for making pasta noodles. I love the health benefits of fresh milled grains. These are always very clean.

Whole berries
I am using this to make hot cereal and add to bread. The package contains the actual "berries"" which is what I wanted so I could grind them myself.
