Fits a 1-1/2" diameter shower rod
Our shower rod is a wider diameter than usual, these rings are the only ones that glide easily over the rod. The double hooks seem to balance the curtain and liner load. No more binding and need to align the old rings to open the shower curtain.

Great replacement and upgrade.
I installed a curved stainless steel shower curtain bar and didn't want to use the chrome rings I had because they would be noisey and leave a mark. I also didn't want to use plastic ones. These were just the right kind. The grey color blends with the rod and they slide quietly. These look and work great! Delivery was fast.

FINALLY!! Rolling hooks that work for my rod!
Apparently my super old shower curtain rod is an odd size and has a plastic material outer part. It's mad old but technically the proper size to fit most of the roller type hooks. HOWEVER, they always get jammed due to the location of the rollers on the hooks and prove useless. The only kind I could ever get to work are those cheap plastic ones you snap together and takes super strength to change the curtain or liner each time. These, however, are AMAZING! Because of where the rollers are located, they glide easily across the rod, not getting jammed up or anything. And the major bonus is that you just hook the curtain over the hook and it stays...no having to pull each apart any time I need to change the curtain or liner....and double bonus....thre are 2 sets of hooks, so you don't even need to touch the curtain to replace the liner!! Curtain goes on one side, liner on the other! The only down side I can see to these is that they need something on each hook in order to straight up on the rod. They still work fine if you don't, but they lean towards the weight. So if you just hang a single curtain from your hooks, this may not be right for you.

Easy glide - best shower curtain hooks
I wish I'd bought these sooner. I've been frustrated with shower curtain hooks that snag and drag, especially when passing over the bump where the rod telescopes. These glide over all of it effortlessly. The best part of the design is that the rollers aren't metal, so the moving parts are less likely to rust over time in the moist environment. It also means the gliders are much quieter! Other nice things: The silicone hooks are flexible to allow you to loop your curtain onto it easily. I was able to hang and remove the curtains without removing the roller hooks from the rod. Because there is a separation between where the inner and outer curtain attach to the hooks, they stay on the proper sides of the tub. I also no longer seem to have an issue with the inner curtain billowing inward during a shower. I'm going to buy another set for the guest bathroom - these are great.

Hooks can be turned outwards with a simple twist!
Moved, sick of all the hassles of all the standard hooks - Umbra design looked smarter. The silicone hooks can be turned 180 degrees to point outwards and work to hold liner and curtain just as well (and make it much easier to change either.) Don't know why Umbra has them turned inward but it's easy enough to spin them out.White is actually white, grey is a good neutral grey (have both.)Plastic "wheels" on body of hook do not really spin and are not silicone like the hooks themselves but still glide more silently then any other hook I've used. Ride over hump in rod without snagging. Have never had the curtain or liner jump off the hook like some others report - deep hook and closed "mouth" of hook work to keep everything in place. If you have to use a curtain and liner these are the best you are going to find and for the price it's really an easy choice.

Great design
Easy to install. Like that you can remove the curtain without having to remove the liner. Smart design.

Did Not Work for Me
While these were the quality you would expect from Umbra (meaning, usually very good) they did not work well at all for my double shower curtains. They hung at a very awkward angle so it just looked messy. Returned with no issue.

QUIET
I have one of those semi-circular rods that has an adjustable button in the centre. I always have a decorative shower curtain and then a fabric shower curtain liner. Because of a rotator cuff tear, I can't keep my arms over my head for any length of time. These "rings" are perfect. You can attach one curtain and then have a rest and then install the other one. They glide easily over the rod with little to no noise. A good buy.

Wish I found these years ago!
The media could not be loaded. These are by far the BEST shower curtain rollers.Ok, sure, they squeek a little now when rolling since I've had them for a good few months now. But I don't care about that. They roll over the bump in the extended pole I have, the curtains don't come off, and I don't have to remove both the shower curtain and the decorative one to wash.Honestly I could not be happier and I do not hesitate to recommend them! You would not be disappointed.

Runs very smoothly along the curtain rod
I bought these rings because of the plastic rollers...my previous curtain rings had metal rollers and that ended up scratching the metal rod and everything ended up rusting. These rings are simple enough to clip on. You really need to have the two layer shower curtain style though. If you only have one shower curtain, the rings will run off centered ... and that won't run smooth. With the plastic rollers, it is definitely running a lot smoother when I open and close the curtain. And in comparison with the very basic plastic rings (no roller type) these Umbra rings are way smoother than that. Of course, they are more expensive than the dollar store plastic rings...but in comparison to the metal rings I bought before, these are a great replacement.
