Raycare 12 PCS Battery Operated LED Taper Candles and 24 PCS Batteries (Last up to 800 Hours), Flameless Taper Candles with Flickering Warm White Light

These are great quality candles for Harry Potter theme party. We hung them with fishing line. They easily twist (the flame part) to turn on and flicker realistically. The only issue at all is that once the two AA batteries are installed, the candles become a bit heavy to hang. It required stronger adhesive tabs/tape than we had bought but were easily tied with monofilament (fishing line) to hang.

Bought these for the " Floating candles " seen in the Harry Potter movies. So just a decoration. Will make them fly ! Tested all candles as soon as they arrived. All of them worked just beautifully. They take two AA batteries each. light weight but a sturdy plastic. I must not of payed attention to product description. They flicker ! Yep I was impressed about that fact. These are 12 LED plastic candles for $ 12.00 ? with the batteries your average is one dollar per candle ?? PLEASE, this is an AWESOME product with multiple decorating ideas. Oh yes they are tapered to fit holders. No brainier ! Buy this product !!!

I ordered 3 boxes of these to use for the children at our church's candlelight service. Out of 36 candles, all but 1 worked. I was hesitant to buy them at first because I was concerned that the base would come off completely and batteries would go flying everywhere while the kids were trying to turn the light off. They were easy to use though! You just twist the base to turn the light on or off. After the light turned off, it still had a ways to go to completely unscrew the base.I have RA which affects the joints in my fingers, and I didn't have any difficulties using them. The lights flickered and had a nice color. It was the perfect size for our candlelight service. Good quality for how much you pay for them!

What a great deal! These candles so well at my sister's Harry Potter themed baby shower. I hung them from the ceiling by tying fishing line around the "flames" of these candles. Even if I never use them again, they were well worth the very affordable price.

These were decent candles for the price. Not all of them worked at first but we were able to rig them up to work using foil to connect the ends. I got them for a Harry Potter themed party and they definitely worked great for that. There isn’t any switch for them though so no way to turn on or off. I also had to buy a lot of batteries for them which made the candles more expensive. All in all I don’t regret it but they could of been better

These were a huge hit at our holiday family gathering. They looked great with our Harry Potter decor!! Would def purchase again. We have had these for over a month and two to 3 times they were on 8 hours or more before turning them off and the batteries have yet to have to be charged.*Update* on these candles. I wanted to test these out so I have had these candles on since Thanksgiving and I had the old Amazon basics batteries in them that were not rechargeable and most are still going!!! I have like 2 or 3 that had the battery drain so they turned off but that just happened about a week or so ago from Thanksgiving. So glad I got these and plan to incorp them into my kitchen for long term use they are so pretty.

Truly torn here, I want to give 5 stars but one of them melted and fused itself shut. Which was terrifying to find. They were on less than an hour. Only one did this and the others have worked just fine since. Aside from the possible house fire they are really nice, easy to use, beautiful lighting. Just don't leave them on for a length of time and keep a close eye on them.

These candles are getting on my nerves. I thought they would be something cool and different for Halloween, but instead they are a huge letdown. Save yourself the money and the trouble.These do not come with any line, or way to attach a line to the top of the candle. I have NO idea how other people were able to get these to hang. I'm going to have sit here for a while messing with fishing line and trying to figure this out.Highly annoyed at the advertising on this product.Edit: Changed it to 2 stars, because they are cool and look good. However, it is not a kit and still don't think it designed well for the purpose.I figured out how to hang, but wasn't able to use the entire lot. I had to use a 3m hook, and tie loops in fishing line to get them to work. They look cool, but would have preferred if this wasn't so difficult to use, and would have liked to use more.
