I liked the concept of these but they don't work well in practice.The bulb part looks like it is hand blown into a mould and they are all of a consistent size.However the stems are very variable in diameter.One has too large a diameter so discharges its contents in about 5 mins.Another has a stem too narrow. Very difficult to fill the vessel. By difficult I mean you have to waste a lot of water whilst holding it under a tap for far too long. Then once it's in the pot, doesn't let the water out.Before refilling any of them you will more than likely have to dislodge a wad of compost from the start of the stem.They look ornamental enough but as a practical watering solution not so good.

I bought these for the hanging baskets. Unfortunately, the water drains away very quickly (have tried all different angles, all the same draining away), so I have to water the baskets just as much as I would have before this purchase.Look good but not very practical.

These are very pretty so it was such a shame they don’t work. The big design flaw, if you place these in a plant it, the thin stem immediately clogs with Earth thus blocking the water flow.I tried various work arounds - digging a hole then inserting, ensuring I only used when the soil was bone dry, various angles. Nothing worked. Expensive mistake.

There are cheaper ones that will suffice. The glass ones are a bit luxurious. These do work, but required a reasonable amount of research on the Internet to find out how to use them, especially to best effect.

Loved the patterned glass. Have put them on display with a clematis that I have just replanted in a big pot. Just hope they help me to keep it watered.

I bought four thinking they would be ideal when going on holiday ...wished id read the reviews first ...NOT fit for purpose the narrow stem instantly fills up with soil as you press it into the soil hence forth there is no drainage of water. absolute waist of money!!!!!

Unfortunately it doesn’t last longer than half an hour. They’re very pretty though!
