Looking for a simle easy to read reference on heping back pain? choose this one.
I purchased several books at the same time after injuring my back. I wanted to educate myself so this would never happen again. After reading them all, this book gave me the best information. It also gives practical advice on protecting your back while performing every day activities of daily living. I refer to it often for the simple strengthening exercises. They are almost as good as going to physical therapy. I was actually injured by a a PT once who pushed me into a stretch before I was warmed up. Use the book and go at your own pace and comfort level.

I am very happy with this book and with the seller who mailed it to me very promptly. I have had back trouble for many years and this book is very informative both on the medical viewpoint and the exercises. I was aware of most of the exercises from my time in a yoga classes I have taken.

Easy to read and understand.
I originally borrowed this from the library. It is perfect for me to follow. The exercises are what I need.

Exercising
If you need to start somewhere then this book will help you to exercise away your pain. If you already workout then this book will not give you the type of workout to improve your condition. This was given to me as a gift and I did pick up a few good pointers.

This book has saved me an enormous amount of pain over the years. I used to own the paperback but must have loaned it out to someone. The Kindle version is just as easy to use, and, of course, gives me the same suite of exercises that cure my back pain.

This book is good,
I bought this book for my husband in a used book store, with nothing to loose, he suffers from back pain and he liked the book so much, until he lost it, and then we order the replacement. .

This book "Backache-What exercises work" is the best!!!
All I can say is these exercises work. This is the best book for back exercises that I have found. Not to mention that all of the exercises are easy to do.

Good advice!
I gave this book 4-stars at first, but I later realized I was too harsh. It's actually a wise and gentle manual that tries first and foremost to convince back sufferers that the proper road to salvation is through exercise, and not drugs or surgery. And while the list of recommended exercises is definitely somewhat elementary, they are undoubtedly all very good and useful. But the real value of this book is in its sensible general advice about what to do (and not to do) if you have back problems.

This is such a great book. The exercises really work to cure my occasional lower back problems if done at least once every day.

Useful pointers
No substitute for professional help from a certified physio-therapist. No miracle cures as there are many many causes of backaches.
