Shimoda Divider Pocket Kit - Mirrorless (520-209)

These differ from any other dividers in that they can attach and be attached at any point or part of the pad - not just at the ends. Several of the dividers have flaps that can be folded over for added protection and solidity. Highly recommend.

This is the divider kit I’ve been waiting for. I prefer the standard, horizontal bendy dividers to the standard, rigid dividers as they allow me more creativity and protection for smaller or irregularly shaped items and for stacking items atop one another while preserving access to the items beneath. The pocket is also of benefit for holding a few small items like my wired remote, batteries, spare caps and gray cards but was previously sold only with a 3 pocket divider kit of which I had no need for 2 out of the 3 items.The surprise is the inclusion of a couple of vertically bending dividers. Featuring Velcro attachment only on the sides, the design allows me to bend it into a “V” and flip it from one direction to the other to enlarge or shrink a space without ripping out and realigning the divider. For example, I’m using it to divide the space between my telephoto zoom lens and camera strap... flipped one direction, the length of the space is perfect for my 70-200mm lens, shoulder strap and some small items. Flipped the other direction, it makes enough space to hold my 100-400mm and strap after relocating any other small items. With either lens, I no longer have to reconfigure the divider or live with wasted space.

These dividers are much sturdier than those provided in most bags (except Shimoda bags of course). I found that they provide the additional vertical support I was looking for.
