As a parent, I couldn't be happier with SmartyPants Kids Multivitamin Gummies. Getting my daughter to take her vitamins has always been a struggle, but these gummies make it so easy and she actually looks forward to taking them! Her gut health has improved alot since she started taking them. 100% effectiveness and would highly recommend if your child lacks fiber and has constipation problems!!

Tastes great, sugar-free is awesome, especially with no artificial sweeteners, colors, or flavors; texture is great, except each gummy has a few hard little bits (maybe dried lemon or orange rind?). Ingredients are high-quality, I like that there's natural vitamin E (d-alpha and not dl-alpha) and that instead of folic acid, these vitamins have the superior form, methylfolate. At the recommended four-per-day rate, though, 3 people use up a 120-count bottle every 10 days. In other words, they're fairly expensive. They're also fairly low in Vitamin A and don't contain iron, which is good in the sense that kids aren't likely to be poisoned by eating too many, but we'd like to have a bit more of those nutrients in our vitamins. One child was also disappointed to learn that he won't be able to eat them after he has braces put on, because chewy things can pop the brackets off. The upside is that I don't have to remember to give them out every day because the kids remember on their own.

EDIT: After a few weeks, my son started complaining about these being “hard.” They felt soft, but then I tried one…. There’s tiny hard areas inside that really hurt! I wonder if the fiber inside hardens over time? Maybe moisture got in the bottle somehow (it’s in a cupboard though). He absolutely won’t eat them anymore and I don’t blame him. 😒Original review: My son is almost 4 and has encopresis (he’s chronically constipated due to withholding, and soiling/leaking). He’s autistic and has major sensory aversions, so I was nervous about changing his multivitamin. He really needed some extra fiber and prebiotics, so this is the perfect option for him.So far so good! He loves the flavor! I tried them and they’re yummy. The texture is pretty smooth, no gritty feeling and they don’t get stuck in his teeth too much. We always brush his teeth after eating them, though, to avoid cavities.I haven’t noticed any dramatic changes to his bowel habits, but I have a feeling it’ll take some time. He’s working up to taking the full dose and his tummy handles them just fine. Love the fact they don’t contain any artificial dyes!!
