This whistle makes a whistling noise. Shocking revelation, I know. It is high-pitched, which is also audible to the human ear. The pitch is easily adjustable, so keep blowing until it makes your dog do a head-tilt. Then obviously you need to begin training to create an association between it and a desirable behavior. That’s the fun part. Good luck to us all with that.

My neighbor's dogs keep barking. The knob that it says I can use to adjust the frequency does not work AT ALL and I am pretty sure it literally does nothing. This is definitely just a scam. The instructions say nothing about how much to adjust and the thing just keeps turning as if it doesn't have an end. Usually on a knob, there's at least a max setting and a min setting but on these, there's neither which makes me think the knob is absolutely pointless.

I think my dog could hear it but she didn’t really seem to care. Kind of worthless for training.

I really like how small and portable this product is. I recently got it for a friend who has a small dog to take on walks to deter other dogs. They love it!

It takes time, like all training, but my dog is responding to the commands with the whistle after a few sessions.

This was a waste of money. My dog just looked at me and continued barking. After trying a few times, my dog simply ignored me and the whistle.

Didn't work for us on any setting unfortunately, but was easy to use.
