We all use it to sanitize our iphones. Googled it, and found that we can leave our credti cards in the iphone case, and this device's treatment has no negative effects on the cards. Nice.

I just talked to Homedics about the UV-Clean Phone Sanitizer. The representative told me you have to take the cover off your phone in order to sanitize it. I read in another review, customers were leaving the cover on. Homedics definitely said it needs to be removed. Hope this answers questions some of you may have.

Works great. Simple to learn. We tested it with the video on the camera on to be sure the inside lights were actually going on, since you can’t verify when it’s all closed up. Yes, works as promised. I use frequently with my phone and keys. Must be used in pop-up position to allow lights to do their work. Compresses for storage and travel only. Must do each side separately, so requires turning the object over. Very quick, simple, holds a charge for 70 uses.

I read some of the negative reviews, and have to say I haven’t had any of the problems people have mentioned. Mine works great, and I find myself using it multiple times throughout the day. It may not kill the COVID-19 virus, but I do feel like everything’s cleaner than it was before I got this. Keys, phone, glasses, watch, earbuds; works great!The need to expand the case is a little annoying, but totally worth any aggravation.

Over the last year, I've considered many brands and sizes of these UV Sanitizers. Chose this HoMedic UV Sterilizer because it collapses and is easy to put in purse, luggage, or drawer. This Sterilizer is easy to use and will sanitize other items like jewelry, keys, nail clippers, etc. Came with easy to follow instructions and charging cord.

This unit is pricey, but works really well. I trust Homedic products, I have other items. It pops up, and folds down, and runs a long time per charging. So it travels exceptionally well, plus it is a solid unit. I can use my smart phone charging cord, nice, one less thing to pack. Very happy with it.

I guess it works. I mean how do you really tell. I do know that if you have one of the newer big smart phones this will not work. I had a Samsung note 10+ and it just barely fit. Well I've upgraded to a note 20 ultra, and nope! I'm probably going to give it as a gift now.
