This cover really is a first class buy. It was a tight fit for my ironing board, which is about the largest size available., but fits well and certainly won't move about or fall off now it's on. There is also a handy pressing/ironing cloth included. Last year I bought a new cover from the manufacturer of my ironing board - a top brand - and it was expensive. I also had to buy an equally expensive padded cloth to go under it, as the cover didn't have a base - it was just a layer of thin cotton. The cover lasted barely a year, and a large frayed hole has appeared in the centre, which is disappointing to say the least as I don't do a lot of ironing. This new one, made in Britain (hurrah) looks as if it is a far superior item, made from thick cotton, and the cover was half the price of the ironing board manufacturer's own make - also I haven't had to buy a felt padded base - the new cover is very well padded. In fact is has worked out to be under a third of the price of last year's purchase, and looks as if it is a far superior item of much better quality.

This ironing board cover is great 👍 I bought standard/ L size and fit my bord parfect. I love the fact this cover have elastic cord,so easy to adjust to the size of your ironing board 😀 The ironing pad what coming with the cover is very handy to if you have more delicate clothes to ironing.

This Ironing Board cover is really thick which many are not as you get the pattern from the metal on the board all over your ironing but with this cover you do not. The cover is really easy to fit as long as you follow the instructions and start at the wide end of the ironing board when fitting it. The cover is designed in Britain and from a small / medium business based in the UK so it is well worth supporting them by buying from them. You definitely will not be disappointed with this cover.

So this cover there are many reviews saying it would fit my size board and others that said it wouldn't. I have a 45.5 x 134cm board and its fits perfectly without any adjustmnets or tightening of the string. I went for blue as it was on offer (just over £14) and wasn't bothered about the colour. Thickness seems good and would recommend. May take two people to strecth out and cover for the first time but once on no other adjustmanet was needed for this size ironing board. I can't really say on durability but as I say it seems nice and padded and it was nice to throw my old one out that was showing the metal grid of the board on my clothes when ironed!

Used once , it is nice and thick, does the job it is intended to do but can’t say that it makes my ironing any quicker!

Time to replace our barbantia ironing board cover. After reviewing the option Iselected this non Brabantia cover for 2 reasons, firstly the padding was so much thicker than the brabantia brand, secondly it was elasticated so no more strings ! Fits perfectly and feels great when you are ironing. Just make sure you get the right size for your board.

I struggled a bit to get it on my fairly large board. After enlisting another pair of hands it was on, and a nice snug fit. The quality seems very good. I have used it for several weeks and its absolutely fine, the iron goes over it smoothly. I like the muted colour very much. Depending on how long the cover lasts, I will probably buy it again.
