Sweet Heart Rose Little Girls' Mock Sequin Dress with Black Cardigan

I bought this dress for my 2-year-old as her Christmas dress this year. She's in between a 2T and a 3T right now because a 2T is a little snug and a 3T is a little big (as far as dresses go). A size 4T/4 is way too big. So I buy a 3T to be safe. Well, the smallest size offered for this dress (that I could find, and believe me, I searched!) was a size 4. Even though I knew this was going to be too big, I still got it because I just couldn't get this dress out of my head. It just screamed my daughter. So I told myself I'd just take it in and hem it. I finally got it in (took forever to finally ship but once it did ship it arrived pretty quickly), and put it on my daughter, and to my pleasant surprise, it's almost a perfect fit. She'll most likely be able to wear it next year if her chest size doesn't get any bigger. The length is a little longer than I like as I generally prefer for their dresses to be about knee length (just looks cuter to me), and this one is mid-calf on my daughter. Now, like I said, my daughter usually wears a 3T and has some growing room and the size 4 in this dress fits almost perfectly. So, if your daughter normally wears a size 4 with some growing room I'd at least get a size 5 to be safe, but if a regular 4 fits your daughter perfectly or even just a little snug then I'd go ahead and get a 6. In my case, the fact that this dress was small for a size 4 was perfect for me, but for other parents it might be a problem. So just keep that in mind when you buy it. Also, the picture does NOT do this dress justice. It is SOOOO much prettier in person. Also, the color is just a little darker in person. But all in all this dress is simply gorgeous and looks beautiful on my daughter. I would most certainly buy this dress again!

Size 4 usually runs large on my toddler. This dress fit "just right", bordering on too small - I'm worried that it won't fit in a month or two. Also note, the bolero "jacket" is actually itself the sleeves and back of the dress, not a separate garment. I would buy again, just a size bigger!

This is a much prettier green in person, the black over shrug is actually attached and the dress can not be worn without it. the dress seems long enough but seems just a tad tight.

Super cute, fits great, comfy. My daughter wore it several times this holiday season and it held up to play and eating goodies just fine.

This dress is really pretty in person. Love it.

Very pretty dress but my daughter complained that seam at the waist is scratchy from the way the sequins on the material at the bottom of the dress are stitched into it. We had to buy a little black camisole to wear under it.
