Expensive but worth it!
If you have walkers or Howard leights these may seem crazy expensive but it's a different between night and day with sound quality. The surround sound is absolutely killer! It dampens sound way better with lower db. I can run a tractor / use a chainsaw and not worry about loosing hearing. Super super comfortable too! I don't sweat as much with these as the budget options.

The legendary Sordins...
If you haven't heard of Sordins before, you will find their reputation precedes them. They're used by real militaries, private military companies, serious hunters, people who shoot a lot, and people who just like to protect their ears from loud noises but want to feel as if they're not wearing anything at all. What sets this product above the others?First, directional hearing. I've had so many digital ear protection headsets in the past and what all of them lacked was directional hearing. You can tell which direction a noise came from immediately which is crucial for shooters. And it's beyond just left or right, it's like a noise compass. Most other headsets (that don't cost a grand) will only amplify noise uniformly without a sense of directionality.Second, comfort. I have worn these on blistering hot days for 4+ hours at a time without removing them. Their gel ear cups are truly one of a kind and they don't make your head hurt after several hours of wear.Third, clarity. When I put them on, it's like gaining a superpower. I can hear so much more than my normal ears can, but at a volume that won't damage my ears. Best of all is that it all sounds so absolutely crystal clear that you can't even tell it apart from the naked ear.You can adjust the volume to hear at a natural level, or enhanced volume so you can hear like you're an echolocating bat. There's also an option to play music, and I do so when I have to mow the lawn or hit the rifle range. The icing on top of the cake is that these things are sturdy as they come and dang near waterproof. I had them on in a downpour and they were fine; I left them on to test its ability to handle rain. No, don't dunk them in a lake because I said that.To summarize, you really get what you pay for with hearing protection. This will give you the edge you may be looking for. You can mount these bad boys to a ballistic helmet with a third party modification (google it if curious) or just get the simple strap headband version if you aren't comfortable modifying them. I can fit a baseball cap under the headband and still have solid protection. Don't spend all day searching for a better bargain, just get these once and forget about buying new ones for ages.

Excellent hearing protection
Would write more detail - but need a demo from them first to write a proper review

Expensive but worth it if you shoot a lot
Durable, quality product. Use at the range and while hunting during gun season and seems to have great battery life. The electronic ear pro can help slightly to enhance hearing but only out to a certain distance. (Which is fine as that is not what these are designed for.) The gel cups are worth their weight in gold. And the ear cups are slim, to allow for shouldering of a variety of firearms. Very comfortable. You will forget you're wearing hearing protection.

Pricey but Fantastic
I’ve purchased and returned at least three sets of electronic muffs from various suppliers. Usually in the $100 to $125 range with top names like Walker. I muddled through with old fashion units or plugs never able to carry out a conversation.I have a buddy with a pair of Sordins. Took his advice and purchased. WOW! 300 Win Mag next to me was a minor pop but I could hear a crisp conversation 50 feet away. Fantastic unit and not mentioned online, a five year warranty!Of note, the Varsa AAA batteries packaged with the unit failed to work even though they measured 1.56 volts on my meter. THEY WERE INSERTED CORRECTLY. Reloaded a few times. Nothing. Went to my battery supply and grabbed two Duracells. Turned on immediately. ALMOST A RETURN! Happily that didn’t happen, but beware of the potential problem with the supplied batteries.

Stopped working :(
They were working great until they randomly stopped working.. was very disappointed because they should be reliable considering how much money you are spending on these.

Fantastic hearing protection
I’m a full time firearms instructor and I have a great deal of hearing loss. This is not only great hearing protection, but I can hear conversations. I had another set of these with the more compact cup, but these really cut down the loud gunfire, even for a class of 24 rifles going off at the same time. Extremely comfortable to wear. Great battery life.

Sounds great, feels great, broke after 2 years
I don't use these for comms, but for indoor/outdoor shooting. Gel cups feel super nice even on hot days. I can wear these for prolonged use. Sound quality is great as well. Not as good as a Comtac but about 80% as good. After two years though, they decided not to turn on anymore. Fresh batteries, everything. From what I've read online, these are known to just sort of "die". They worked when I hung them up after a range trip, but I retrieved them a few days later and they wouldn't turn on, so I have no idea how these break.
