IkaniLED-MA Micro Flood Light (Black)

I shoot weddings and have used an NRG ilight modified with an led lamp that would reach across the dance floor. However, carrying a 3ah sla battery that weighs 3 lbs gets the shoulder tired after awhile. Plus deal with the cord. Ugh.This light, I’ve waited years for. Finally a rechargeable, small profile light with a narrow beam, long throw, adjustable brightness with diffuser and 32k filter? This is it! Reaches long, and is very bright.It’s boast 80 minutes, yet to be tested for that. If I get 30-45minutes on high setting I’ll be very satisfied.Just bought another one lol.

Ok, giving this five stars with a caveat, this light is great for a pinch, use it to fill or spot as needed when used with other lights. As a videographer, this light is great as a hair light. It's lightweight, adjustable and compact. Some may not like the rechargeable battery but it works for 4 hours. Just remember to charge it every time you use it. The best part is the price. The quality of the light is good but its not the most even light.

amazing light. much brighter than you would imagine. the fact that you can get a few hours out of it on two little batteries is crazy good. Being able to dim AND adjust color temp at this price point is wacky. I've used them for an over head backlight... and it makes a wonderful camera light or off camera key light when you're on the run. Ikan is finally paying attention to designing good carry cases as well. Very well put together.

Bought this for a short film shoot outside, at night, with only a single street light available as natural light.This little light was spectacular - we were able to easily match the temperature of the street lamp to create a realistic scene that wasn't too dark. The battery life is excellent too; only thing that's unfortunate about that (and the reason I didn't give the light 5 stars) is that replacement batteries like this one tend to be expensive, at over $60/pop. I want to have a backup battery in case the first runs out but I didn't intend to spend that much on it. It would be nice if this little guy could use AAs or something.Otherwise, very happy with this purchase. Might even get the big brother (322) in the future, for a little more oomph at distance...

Love this light! I use it on a canon vixia g30 with a glidecam - very lightweight and balances better than a flood. It works fantastic for short range and small spot (specifically lighting faces during wedding reception dances) - it's worth it for the price

Wouldn't rely on this light for general illumination; it's too small. That's what makes it perfect if you want to accent an element in a frame to bring it to the viewer's attention. So often you need to add a touch of light in a particular spot, and the adjustable intensity and handy barn doors make it easy to provide a quick splash to any shot. I've also used them as a hairlight with good results. I added my Micro Spot to a UTEBIT Heavy Duty Tripod Camera Mount Clip, then I easily clip them to a lightstand or anywhere for fast and easy aiming. Mine will burn for an hour continuous, long enough for most interviews. Two of these plus a nice broad softlight and I'm ready to shoot practically anything more tastefully.

The Ikan micro spot light is super versatile. I HIGHLY recommend this light. I am a anthropologist and I use it for film field recording and documentary interviews in Iceland. Good battery life and the barn door "filter" system is really handy in a pinch if you don't have diffuser or gel filters with you. Camera mount is handy but really light so can be handheld if you need to quickly light on the fly in real-time. I wish I had bought more before moving to Iceland! I find that I use it more than my flat panel LEDS. Item also arrived right on time and was well packaged. May not be for everyone but is PERFECT for my project. Thanks, Ikan!

Good for the size. Not to much light

I have one for one year and work fine. But now is bad the light. So I bought two more but one of them is not worked.
