First of all I want to say that these sets come beautifully packaged and are so cute! I love that they are microwave and dishwasher safe, no issues there. The problem I have is that the material has cut marks just from using a butter knife to cut my child’s sandwiches in half! I don’t like that the material has been compromised. I feel like it could harbor bacteria now. I’d recommend any cutting be done on a separately and then transferred. Not perfect but the cleanest option I’ve found that my child can’t shatter that is microwave safe. I’m not a fan of the silicone options out there because they make the food taste funny and they are too wobbly. The food tastes as it should with this set and can be carried with confidence! I will purchase more despite this one downfall.

Microwave safe...game changer!! I have a set of bobo&boo bowls that I love, but my one complaint was that I can’t put them in the microwave. I don’t like to microwave much, but those frozen single servings of applesauce that I cook need to be heated, and quickly. I’m a busy mama! I found myself heating in another container and then transferring to my bamboo bowls. With this new set, I find myself pulling the bowl out of the drain board daily instead of getting a different one from the cabinet. While I do find the company to be pricey, as a former small business owner myself, I understand there’s sometimes no way around that when you offer a quality product. Handles on the bowl and suction to stick to a highchair tray would be helpful, but that might increase the cost more. I am very particular about everything my child uses and was thrilled to find this line of food safe, environmentally friendly dish ware. The bright hues add a pop of color to any table and help to make eating fun. Depending on how many children you have (or be honest - maybe you’ll want to use them, too) or how often you’ll be doing dishes, you might want to opt for the packs of multiples instead of this set. Provided those become available with the microwaveable option, that’s what I would do. This set would make a perfect gift for a friend, as a trial to see if they like using bamboo. The material does have a somewhat chalky feel, but instead of bothering my daughter, she likes to run her fingers along the outside...and of course the inside. Hey, no bowls are going to be mess proof, right?!

Much better product then there other line of kids plates. Wish I could buy more sets. But they only have the two on here. Also kind of don’t love that they don’t stack with there other products. They dish wash ok so far. You can tell the color is fading. Don’t know how long they will last

I just purchased both color ways of Bobo & Boo Plant Based Dinnerware sets and I couldn’t be more pleased. I had purchased other Bobo & Boo plates and bowls in the past which I love but it was always a bummer that they couldn’t go in the microwave- but not anymore!All three pieces of these new sets are microwave & dishwasher safe as well as completely compostable and plant based. The tall edges on the plates & bowls allow food to be scooped up against the side as well as stack neatly in the cupboard (the cups also stack). The cups perfectly hold one cup (8 oz.) of liquid and the matte finish helps the cup stay easy to grip even when wet.The vibrant colors and packaging make these dishes fun to open and just as fun to use. They are light enough that all dishes are easy for a child to carry, but heavy enough that they feel durable and well constructed.I love that I am able to support a small company and be eco conscious while not compromising on aesthetics or quality- thanks Bobo & Boo!

I love this new plant-based line! I have been looking for products that do not contain melamine and this is the first one on the market that I have found for a reasonable price. The colors in this set are not my favorite but they definitely do go together and look just like the picture. Love the colorful box it came in too!

I’ve purchased from Bobo&Boo in the past after searching for a sustainable and safe replacement for our silicone kids’ dishes (the smell of soap would linger in those.) We previously purchased the plates and snack bowls and loved them but not being able to microwave them for those occasional “leftovers” was a downside.I was so excited to see their new dish sets are now microwave-safe! I purchased the tropical and lagoon dinner sets and we love them. The texture is slightly different, feels less like plastic which I actually like.Another thing I like about them, which I showed in one of the pictures, is how well they stack together, which keeps them more tidy on the shelves.The cute packaging is just one more element of thoughtfulness and attention to detail by this company. Will buy another set for my third born soon!

We've been using Bobo&Boo's bamboo bowls and plates for several months and are happy with them, though they aren't entirely free of plastic. So I was excited to try their new set that is 100% plant-based and microwave safe. They arrived packed nicely in a box that is cute, easy to open and easily collapsed for recycling. The dishes have a solid feel to them while still being lightweight. They stack nicely with each other, although they take up a bit more room vertically when stacked than the bamboo dishes (and they don't stack perfectly with the bamboo dishes). Our toddler loves them, especially the lip on the plate that is perfect for her to scoop against. We've run them through the dishwasher twice so far (top rack) and they came out beautifully. Vivid, fun colors. Two thumbs up!

I LOVE the concept behind these, but unfortunately ours cracked within a few weeks of buying them. Better than plastic cracking and having to be thrown away, but I also need something that lasts! Bravo to this company for trying to create something sustainable. There is too much plastic waste in this world.
