I think that Barry's tea is better than any other tea that I have ever had! I rarely ever drank tea because I had always considered myself to be a coffee drinker. Really enjoyed Barry's on trips to Ireland and figured I could get some here through the marvel of online shopping! Very fresh, right from the company's factory and has that distinctive Barry's taste.

My favorite after trying numerous breakfast teas from the UK. I love coffee, but this tea makes a great replacement with a bit of raw sugar and milk. I've tried several of Barry's other teas, but always come back to the Gold. Well done!

If you are a tea drinker and try Barry's, you will never go back to another brand.

First had this in Spain and couldn't get it over here. I could have ordered direct from the factory but the p&p was more than the tea. So, I tried other teas and yearned for Barry's. Then I noticed that amazon was listing it, at supermarket prices, and postage free too. Ordered was placed and the anticipation began. Would it be as I remembered it? Or, would fond memories play tricks again? Finally, 3 days later, the great moment arrived. Hand wrapped in a dedicated Barry's paper, I opened the box and there it was. Kettle boiled and tea mashed. I raised the cup to my anticipating lips. Did it taste the same? No. it tasted better. I am a bit of a tea fanatic. I rarely drink coffee and don't drink anything stronger so tea is al I have and I know what I like. And, do I like this tea. Great taste, strong enough for that all important first morning cup and still refreshing through the day and into the evening. I always thought that Ireland's greatest export was its people but I may have to revise that. Great tea. Try it for yourself.

Having enjoyed this tea in Ireland many years ago I decided to purchase it through Amazon in the U.K. Whilst it is more expensive than “normal” tea it has great flavour and depth which makes it a truly superb cuppa no matter what time of the day it is drunk. Personally I enjoy the taste of Barry’s Gold tea at breakfast time and it is a drink I always really look forward to. I would definitely recommend this tea and hope you enjoy it as much as I do. Well worth a try.

Best tea ever. My mum won't drink any other and every one who visits says it's the nicest tea they've ever had and wants to know where to get it. Tesco used to sell it but they've stopped and I find it hard to find. I ordered direct through Amazon and delivery was quick and Barry's tea was as good as always.

The best tea bar none. My order arrived from Ireland beautifully packaged with a thank you note enclosed! I bought it for myself but it would be a great gift for a tea lover.

My favourite tea - cannot now buy in local shops (Tesco used to stock it!) - will buy a bigger packet next time to last longer and for better value!
