SpeedoElastomeric Solid Silicone Swim Cap

I used to swim competitively with one of these caps in high school and love how they hold up. I can't find my old one right now (it's held up a looooong time) so I ordered this. It always seems like it's going to rip, but it's much sturdier than the plain rubber-type caps. The gold color is pretty cool. If there was any complaint, it's that these are a bit thicker so your head may get a little hotter if you swim hard .... but that's kind of a silly complaint so I can't really make it seriously.I have short hair, but know that this glides on over my hair better than a traditional cap, but it does also grab some of my hair when I pull it off because they texturized the inside which I wished had been left alone. Guess they did that so it would stay on better since caps do also tend to slide up a bit when I swim. After trying both the thinner plain caps and this, I will purchase another one after the chlorine and use finally destroy this one.

My hair is not very long, but kind of thick. This can be used for long hair, even though it’s not made for long hair. It’s made of a special durable material which stretches. (Elastomeric) If you have long hair, I suggest having two braids and tucking each one under a side of the cap. It seems to work well for me, and my hair is about shoulder length. Your hair will not remain dry with most caps. However, if you wet your hair first… You may be able to avoid your hair becoming chlorinated, as water can’t be easily absorbed into already wet hair.

Very nice swim cap. Nice quality. Fits the average person’s head size. May be difficult to fit your hair into it if you have mid length to long hair but it can fit in and the cap will stay on. Increases swimming efficiency.

My son uses this for swim team. He has a lot of hair and the coach told him that he needs to wear a cap or cut his hair. So may were hard to get on but this one is great! He can put it on for himself and it keeps his hair dry and more importantly, out of his eyes. Super sturdy as he wears it at least 4-5 days per week. It’s a great fit, comfortable for him and is definitely worth the money.

I've never had a swim cap like this. This is made from a slightly thicker material and it's very durable. This cap will hold your brain in if it is oozing. Absolutely no water got into my hair. This is definitely a winner. I would recommend this product.

The Speedo Unisex-Adult Swim Cap has a great fit and feels comfortable on my head without pulling on my hair. Unfortunately, while it wasn’t a terrible buy, I can’t say it’s the best either. After just a few uses, the cap started to tear, and eventually, it ripped, which was disappointing given that it’s a Speedo product. While it offers a snug fit and stays in place during swims, the durability just didn’t hold up as well as I expected. Overall, it’s decent for short-term use, but I wish the material were a bit sturdier.

Quality. Many of the cheaper imitation caps will tear at the seam when stretched this is worth the money great quality. It’s comfortable and it’s fit keeps ears and hair dry

Needed to replace my old cap, and got this based on reviews. Thicker material, seems sturdy (too soon to gauge durability) but a bit tight for my head. Note, I do have a slightly large head but not giant. I can and will wear it, but it could be more comfortable. Unfortunately, no sizing offered

This is the best swimming cap I have used. The material is tough, it does not rip, discolor, or stick, like other speedo caps I have used. Even though it is designated for adults, it fits quite snugly on my 6 year old as well.
