Ultra Hardware 4” Surface Bolt – Mortise and Surface Strikes Included – Satin Nickel

I am not handy at all, but I gathered from the look of the bolt that I could install it. I assumed a basic instruction packet would come with the unit. There were no instructions. So, I watched YouTube videos and finally figured it out. To be so small, the bolt is strong. I would guess that the average handyman would have this installed in less than 3 minutes. After watching videos, it took me about 15 minutes to install.

One minor issue with this bolt is that the strike plate hole is not aligned with the bolt if the flat end is aligned with the bottom of the bolt. I had to chisel out the door jam so much so that the door was not hitting the strike plate.

Arrived on time and worked great. Easy to install.
