Works well for grandsons backpack for school.

I bought this pack to use daily, It is a little soft for my use, I expected something a little stiffer. It is made well but the zippers are a lightweight plastic and I hope they hold out. The pouches work well for my use and there is plenty of room in the pack. It has two seperate compartments for large stuff and a pouch in the front section for a wallet or cell phone. It also has a pouch in the flap which works well for small items or wallet or cell.Overall it is a good pack but I don't recommend this for kids. The zippers will not last and it is not designed for kids. Only for older teens or adults who will take care if it and not abuse it. I will get some good use out of it.

These are all cotton, they will soak up water, I silicone soaked and sprayed mine to control water absorption. It is very comfortable to wear, you might want to bag smaller items if they will be put in the pockets as the covers do not fit tightly. Better in cooler weather, as they will trap your body heat and sweat in the heat. Great zippers and pulls, this color is accurate. I prefer this kind of straps ( old school). Buy it and enjoy !!!!! The bag is a very simple cotton canvas. light breathable for the most part. (No matter how breathable it is. In the Arizona heat it will still make your back sweat). I am a hardcore biker so the fact it stood up to 70+MPG winds on the freeway was a good thing. Held more than 3 one liter bottles with no issues. The only issue I had was with the D-rings for the shoulder straps. They had a tendency of slipping fairly frequently. Aside from that it is a good bag.

This backpack was awesome! very nice material. made of cotton and it is not too big nor too small. has many compartments. two big pockets and and small pockets in front. straps take a while to open but i would rather have that than have anything stolen. very comfortable to wear. the straps are sewn tightly onto the bag so i dont have to worry about it ripping like my old backpack. the big compartment has pockets inside for items etc. Very lightweight yet durable. I adore the look of this backpack. it is olive but has a sort of cotton olive feel. Great bag! I hope this one lasts. I highly highly highly recommend. can fit laptops etc .

Bigger than I expected, very nice. Unzips itself sometimes when moving around and the stiches on the top loop came loose after one trip so it is only partially attached. The material is soft and not thick, it is really roomy but the pockets don't close very tight so you don't want to put loose items in the front pockets, they'll fall out.

My dad has a pack very similar to this that he's had since the late '60's/early '70's that he keeps his watercolor tools in. My son saw this recently and was super inspired and wanted his own. I found this one which I just bought him for his b-day. He loves it. The material is both strong and very soft, and it's plenty roomy for lots of uses without being as big and obnoxious as some of the alice packs seem to be. Perfect for a child or adult. I don't love the price though - kinda spendy. But definitely not a waste of money.

I'm a junior in high school and it's a good backpack so far. I've been in school for 2 months now and it holds fine. My only problem is with the straps on the back sometimes they come loose and I'm forced to re attach them. It's not ghat big of a deal but just to let you know.
