We bought a few manual boat horns and this was the absolute best, loudest, and most fun horn. Picture from our sailing cruise to the San Juan Islands in 2019. Any time the kids were getting restless on a leg of a sail, I'd call out for more fog horn, and then the fighting would start over who gets to go to the bow and blow the fog horn.So perfectly adequate boat horn, and also great kid distracting toy. No small boat should be with out this horn. I bought a second horn and donated it to our club's sailing instructor powerboat.

This is a loud horn and because of its size it has a lower overall frequency. I’m intending to use it when hiking to warn bears away. It should prove useful and carry farther than a more shrill version.

I was crazy happy when I got the horn, dying to use it, for the next Game.By the end of the night..... YOU WILL BE DEAF, in your left ear. I blew the horn , practically the whole game. I repeat..... this horn is LOUD!!!! It’s only down fall, is that it’s a short horn, not to far away from your left ear. You will be deaf in your left ear, if you blow this horn to much. I had a headache and my ear was ringing for 3 days.This should be enough said.

The horn requires no batteries or gas. Your lung capacity makes this horn sing! If you blow hard, it is loud enough for you to wish you had ear plugs. It seriously is loud! Just make sure the bottom part is engaged with the rubber membrane. It is great for camping, canoeing, or scaring your spouse coming home from work. Endless fun!

I wanted something really loud to blast in the ears of the BS artists telling me that my Apple account has been hacked (I don't have any Apple products or any accounts with them) or my Microsoft account has been hacked. Somehow they all seem to have a heavy Indian accent when you finally get to talk to them on the phone so when they finally pick up the line, I just blast them with the horn. My phone calls have dropped by 90% since I have started blasting them. This horn is well worth the money!

I like that it was smaller than I expected, I got it for hiking to scare coyotes away. I hike with my dog in the woods even in the dark.

Bought this as a noise maker for my child's sports activities, so with COVID that has been a bit of a bust, but have no doubt it would more than do the job to annoy kids and parents alike in the stands. Added bonus is my dog loves to bark and turn in rapid circles in response to this horn so it does provide hours of endless joy for both her and me while stuck at home! If you are looking for a noise maker, air horn, or just something to annoy others with on random occasions I highly recommend this horn.

This horn is wicked loud! I bought it on a whim (got tired of buying cheap air horns for my boat). I figured if it was no good, the grand kids could play with it. Wow, this is every bit as good as an air horn and no more aerosol cans to buy (the grand kids aren't getting this one).....just be careful of others and don't blow it in their ear, seriously. Glad I bought it...would be fun at sporting events too, as long as you didn't make a nuisance of yourself.

We spend our time at the arenas as our granddaughters play hockey. Sounds just like the sound you hear when you watch the hockey games on tv. Ordered another one for my husband. Don't understand why the red one is double the price. Will stick with the blue one
