OK, so even after reading all the positive reviews of this product, I went into this purchase fully expecting to get totally screwed over by one of the thousands of, fly by night, survival "Expert" companies that has popped of over the last year or so.I am very happy to report that I WAS TOTALLY WRONG!I ordered two packs of Ark Survival seeds, one to plant this season, and one to put away for any emergency that might present itself in the future. To my pleasant surprise, my Ark Survival Seeds arrived within 3 days of placing my order.The seeds arrived very well packaged in a resealable, waterproof, plastic coated, Mylar, bag which I am more than certain must provide a nearly unlimited shelf life for the seeds. Being resealable, the bag also provides a safe, dry, storage environment for any seeds which you may not want to plant right away, such as the provided lettuce seeds which are best planted in early spring or late fall when the planting season is cooler.Upon opening the resealable bag you will find 15 packs of vegetable seeds, all of which are heirloom seeds, most with an heirloom pedigree linage spanning as far back as the late 1800s ! No genetically modified Franken-seeds here folks!I have not found even one cracked, or damaged seed in the entire bag and, at less than $20 the Ark Survival Seed pack, which may seem a bit expensive at first glance but which is actually a damn fine buy.Consider this, a single, comparable pack of Beefsteak Tomato seeds, Kentucky Wonder bean seeds, and Snap Pea seeds costs $2.99 a pack from Gurney's. Other seeds, such as Cabbage, Broccoli, and Zucchini sell for $ 3.99, and more, per pack! Even if you could purchase all 15 packs of seeds at $2.99 a pack, you would still pay a total of nearly $45.00 if you bought these individually from Gurney's, and most of the seeds from Gurney's aren't even heirloom!So far, I have found the Ark Survival Seeds to be an outstanding buy, and if the seeds grow as well as I suspect they will, I can't see how you can go wrong with this purchase.However, I will be starting my corn, zucchini, and been seeds this weekend and I will keep you advised as to how well they germinate, If I can keep my chickens out of the garden :)Semper FiJohn SnyderUSMC Retired

The information in the eBook that comes with the package complete instructions on starting a garden including when and where. Garden location along with preparation are covered in a simple and easy to understand point of view. Each individual packet of seeds also comes with when and how to plant each variety, how to sprout, how much sun, what type of soil.... I haven't started any yet though I plan on a fall garden. The overall price of this package is less than some garden "How-to's" that I have purchased or borrowed. The "How-to" books have proven to be much more difficult to use than Ark's straight forward eBook Just for the information I received on the packets and the eBook I feel that my money was well spent. Sort of like buying a well written book and instructions and receiving the seeds for free. I have already told others who, like me, have had problems with a garden, and I wouldhighly recommend again.

I've been asked to rate this product but I can only speak of the purchasing process and the packaging.The product arrived quickly from the time that it was ordered, the packaging was intact, and the product matched the description in every manner. As to the viability of the seeds themselves I can not state as of this time these seeds have not been planted due to the time of year being winter (as in my yard is currently under 08 inches of snow and 01 inch of ice as of the time of this writing) so I can not in any manner rate the seeds themselves. I can only honestly rate the purchasing process and packaging to which I can state that both were perfect....I only rated this product with four-stars as of this time since I can't honestly rate the seeds, or their produce, at this time.

In all fairness, I have not used the product, and will not use it until I neeed it for the reason I purchased it. Looking at the sealed product, the materials used in packaging, the source of the product, I have little doubt that it will fit my needs when the time comes. Once I purchase an additional one for redundancy, I will open the seeds of the first pack and plant them. Until then, yes, this review is based on speculation that it will truly fit my needs. I do have faith in the company, and feel strongly that it will meet my needs though.

I am unable to fully rate this product as I purchased them should there ever be a crisis situation where there would be a need for a source of food. What I liked was the company personalizes their shipment and makes available resources for questions. Their packaging makes great sense and I will have to come back and update should I decide to plant them or when there is something to report about how well they store.

It has a nice high quality packet, compact, and each packet has a name, and instructions. Very educational, everything you would want in a garden. Obviously does not have every single pepper, or whatever. Everything you NEED for vegetables. I will try to find fruit to go along with this. Nice price too. I wont be able to do all this right away, but in due time.

The seed are packaged nicely and got here quickly. I don't know how the seeds are as I haven't opened them yet. I wish I could get the address of the download for the survival info without opening the package as I wanted to keep it for storage. I also wish that storage info was on the outside of the package. I don't know whether to put them in the freezer, fridge or neither for best long term storage

Heirloom seeds are definitely the way to go! The package contains a really good variety of seeds, each in their own sealed packet.Since I just received them and it's December, I'm going to experiment with some of them and do an early Winter, indoor planting. Then, this Spring I'll do an outdoor planting with the rest. I can't wait to plant them!
