Easy to install but note that the V6 has 2 screws (not 1). The instruction video for the product either needs and update or a disclaimer.Once installed the vacuum is working like new again. Will update the review if I encounter issues down the line but for now, I’m happy.

This is a great replacement battery. As many owners of the Dysons know, the battery it comes with stops working. Its true with a lot of products that us battery. This is a great replacement. It fits prefect into the location the original battery goes. My opinion I believe it last longer then the original battery. Great product, would recommend to anyone.

I'm writing this review even though I just received the battery. I can't speak to the battery life or longevity yet. It arrrived the next day after I ordered it and it fits the exact model of Dyson vacuum. I'm hoping this will last as long as the original batttery with normal use. Stay tuned for more updates.

Original review - (It stopped working after 3 month of very light use.)I have updated my ratings to 5-stars since the seller reached out and was very helpful.There was a complete mess with the product sent to us. This ordeal was not even created by the battery vendor. However, vendor’s customer service took the issue very seriously and resolved it in the most professional matter – deeply diving into the issue’s root, promptly communicating with us via personal emails, and offering solutions to our satisfaction immediately. Kudos to David!!!

Initially, my review stated, "Unfortunately, the battery for our v6 lasted all of 4 months (not quite). I am apparently stuck with buying the brand name battery at twice the price." However, after communicating my dissatisfaction, I decided to take the battery off and try recharging it again without it being connected to the vacuum. That actually worked and it is in operation. MORE IMPORTANTLY, the company reached out and is sending a second battery for me to compare performance and to assure that whatever caused the failure to re-charge (I think perhaps a connection issue like a "short") won't stop our ability to use the vacuum. GREAT SERVICE RESPONSE ABOVE AND BEYOND WHAT I EXPECTED.

Was great for 10 months then stopped holding a charge… what a shame because it was great for so long.*edit:Explained to the customer service that the battery died after around 10 months and they were very courteous and refunded /replaced the item quickly. Would recommend this now

UPDATE: I just want to add to my review that when the company saw my review they contacted me to fix the problem. They ended up sending me a new battery free of charge. So I’m upgrading my review one star for the great customer service. Who knows probably I got a battery from a bad batch but they went far and beyond to fix the problem. Kuddos for that!!!! At first I liked this product because it fits perfectly to my Dyson Animal V6 model. It charged quickly and the charge was enough to almost vacuum my 3000 sqft home. Then it started to last for less and less time until it finally gave up and doesn’t charge anymore after 1 1/2 years of moderate use. Also you need to use up all the power before putting back on the charger, if not it doesn’t fully charge.The good thing is that the price is 1/3 of the original, so I guess you get what you paid for.

Updated Review: After my initial review of one star, the company contacted me and sent me a new battery, which works. There is also a 12 month warranty period so if this one stops working, they will replace it. Great customer service.Battery worked for a few months but now every time I try to use it just cycles on and off before stopping completely. Having a hard time finding contact info for the company since it should work longer than just a few months. Very frustrated.
