Triangular Folding Hard Case for Sunglasses or Other Accessories by IG Black

I personally like this case because it fits my spectacles which have a rather wide frame and it folds to a very compact size when not in use. Here are my other observations:Triangle shape:At first I thought the triangular shape was most advantageous for a hard case because the triangle is the strongest shape. That doesn't apply here because while the walls are made of rigid material, the corners are only made of the weaker flexible material. It's still strong enough to hold its shape against a bag placed on top of it, but I'm sure a person sitting on it will crumple it.However I did discover advantages of the triangular shape.Firstly, fewer geometric sides means a simpler fold and lighter weight.Also, if you fold the arms of most spectacles and look at them from the side view, chances are they'd form a triangle. Spectacles would nest snugly in 1, 2, or 3 of the casing's corners depending on their frame size. This is especially good for spectacles which fold by flexible plastic material on the arms instead of mechanical hinges - the lens takes up one side, and the arms spread out to the opposite corner such that there's no stress on the material that would normally occur if you folded it flat. Very little space is wasted. Spectacles not large enough to take up the entire space would rattle still about, but most noise is absorbed by the soft interior lining. You won't hear it through your bag.The product description isn't 100% accurate on the dimensions. Here's what I measured from my units (I ordered 2, and both are exactly the same in dimensions) to help you be sure if your spectacles or sunglasses will fit.Unfolded:interior length: 15.3cmheight of each interior wall: varies from 5.7cm to 6.5cm due to flexible material at corners. If the height of your lens is between 5.5cm and 6.5cm, it still fits into the case but it touches the flexible material which provides little protection from external crushing/impact forces.outer length: 16.0cmheight of each exterior wall: 7.3cmequilateral triangleFolded thickness: 1.5cmFolded width: 6.6cmFolded length: 16.0cmit clips into folded form by magnets

It fits my oversized sunglasses comfortably - sleek design, and you can't beat the price. Genius collapsible design saves a ton of space in my bag.
