power supply - 130 Watt CN-06TTY6 for Dell Precision M3800 / XPS 15

I bought this item specifically because it showed it was of the smaller, rounded design that shipped with the laptop, and not of the larger, more ungainly and frankly cheaper larger blockier design.Alas, behold my surprise when upon receiving the item it was of the larger, blockier design I specifically did NOT want. It's over twice the volume of the original adapter, which is clearly false advertising.It does however deliver the same power output and is a genuine Dell part (it seems...) and works perfectly fine with my XPS system, but given I *specifically* paid extra to get the smaller rounded design this is a disappointment, and not something that comfortably fits into my slim profile laptop bag.

Saw another review claiming it didn't work with their XPS 15 9550, so was cautious to buy, but I had a broken charger and this was the quickest option (only real alternative would be waiting over a week for a delivery from another site, and I need my laptop to work).I think this is the charger made to work with the XPS 15 9530, but all energy outputs, inputs, etc. are identical to the 9550 charger and it fits in perfectly and charges as expected, no issues at all.The wire for the outlet end is actually twice as long as the one that came with my 9550, so this is a welcome addition too! I imagine my original plug/wire would also support this charger as they share the same amp and voltage, so I will be keeping it as a spare in case I lose or damage the outlet wire that came with this.Obviously quite pricey for what it is, but I feel a lot more comfortable using an official Dell charger than a cheaper third party one.If there are any problems down the line I will update this review, but I expect there won't be any need.

Just got on 10/03/2016 and it worked around three days? Since today the charger keep disconnecting and I can not charge my laptop properly... The cable only works on specific position and just wondering what happen to my 'new' cable...

Does exactly what its supposed to - you cant tell any difference between it and the one supplied from Dell with the laptop. I bought it so that I can have this one at the office wired round the back of my desk permanently and use the other one for taking out with me (save being on my hands and knees first and last thing every day)

Good seller.bought as a second to save carrying chargers to and fro all the time.
