I think there Great!
So, I snagged these HydraLight flashlights on a whim, just to see what the fuss was about. Turns out, they're pretty nifty! While they might not be the brightest in the flashlight world, the water-powered feature is downright amazing. I mean, who would've thought you could light up a room with just water? Here's the drill: dip them in clean water up to the line, wait for about 15 seconds or a bit more, and you've got yourself a functional flashlight. What's cool is that they hold their charge for a week or more, as long as you remember to turn them off. And the best part? No running to the store for batteries. If they start to dim, just give them another water dip, and you're good to go.Quality-wise, they're surprisingly well-made. I appreciate the craftsmanship – sturdy yet compact. It's like having a reliable companion for camping or unexpected power outages. Overall, these HydraLight flashlights are a unique addition to my gear collection, and I'm quite pleased with how they perform! 🌌✨

Single use only
I purchased these thinking they might be able to "recharge" didn't read the complete details of this product. I wanted to play around with them, but they'll just run their internal batterys lifespan as claimed "up to 72 hours" then its no longer worth anything. Still cool, nonetheless. I like preparation in case of emergencies, and believe these could be a neat, compact addition to a "ICE" kit/pack.

Nice little lights
These are nice units to keep in your emergency kit just in case. They will be there and get the job done when all else fails. That's what they are there for and they do it fine. Nice to have.

Cute but not great
Was very excited about these. I collect flashlights but One out of 3 didn’t work. Now 2nd one quit working. Not worth sending back. Not bright but not bad for the one that is working but you end up with 1 for 10.00 won’t buy again

Peeeeeerfect Backup!!!
When I saw this, OMG!!! My backup plan was solved. As it literally says, put it in water for 10-15 seconds. It's bright like a regular flashlight. Now one on them had a faulty power button and could not turn off but it slowly went out the next day so at least i know it held that power for almost 24hrs. My kids use batteries like crazy and I always think what the heck we gonna use if the electricity goes out and I don't use or care for power banks, they need recharging. Well problem solved.

Could have been a cool idea but....
When I got these delivered two of them didn't even work and then the third one acted like it wasn't gonna work either but after I left it sitting out it actually worked kinda but the first two didn't work at all !!! So if your wanting this for an emergency item thee are not the ones !!

Fantastic product for fun or emergencies
I spend a lot of time outdoors. And having light is essential. Especially in emergency situations. I bought these to throw into my emergency kits, but I had to open one up and try it. I have to say I was thoroughly impressed with this little lights performance. I tested it out over the course of two weeks. The light runs for quite sometime very quickly after being dipped. I ran it off and on for hours the first day and it did great, when it dimmed just re-dip and it runs perfectly again. It will run for a couple days off on dip if you use it sparingly, say reading a map or ready a book for 20 mins. (Great book light for kids on camping trips.) Don't pour water directly into the bottom of the light from a water bottle best to find some container if you're in an emergency situation. Will be giving these out as gifts because they are so cool and fun.

Was impressed
I see a lot of reviews of people disappointed that they can only use once, well, people, they are one time use and disposable. Given that, I have now recharged mine 3 times by rewetting as directed to activate the first time. I thought it was a pretty cool little emergency tool.
