Works nicely to transmit Modbus RTU over an Ethernet link to another serial device
I've used these on a few jobs now, often paired with Ubiquiti NanoBeam AC5-Gen2 to get an RS485 Modbus signal over a distance that nobody wants to cable/trench.I have NOT had them working as a Modbus IP server to a 3rd party device - in fact I've never found a cheap device that will do that. So recommend them, but only in pairs.

Does not respond to MODBUS TCP queries.
Device hangs and does not respond to MODBUS TCP queries. Contacted the manufacturer and they suggested things I had already tried. Still no response from the device. Unit was enabled for MODBUS. Out of desperation I put the device on the internet, connected the unit to the RS485 ready to go for the manufacturer to try. The manufacture said they would try it, but I received no response back. I contacted them a third time, was told someone would investigate and again no response.So, good luck everyone else!

Know exactly what your input and output type and functions are!
It appears to be very simple to configure and has several options!
