Scroll Saw for the first time® Paperback – August 1, 2007

I ordered this book to help learn how to use the Moto Saw I ordered. I have no experience with power tools and found the book very helpful in educating myself about safety and how to use a scroll saw. The book has several projects with clear pictured instructions but I have not completed any of them because I created a dollhouse.

This book has a lot of very good information for newbies. I found the instructions well written and easy to follow. I like the easy patterns provided so you can still feel some success in spite of just starting to learn. There is also a variety of patterns for all to try and expend as you improve your skills.

You can always learn something new even if you have read most of the books. like the plans in this book. Bowles are a great gift.

I love this book and all of the adorable little patterns in it. I found it extremely easy to get on the scroll saw and make some of the easier patterns with very little problem.

It is very good for teaching basic techniques. My only issue is that due to it's request to scan and print patterns for following through the book it would have been a lot better either on pdf or it could have came with a mini-disk that would allow you to print the patterns more easily with no distortion. Also some people may not have a scanner or one suitable to scan items out of a book.

I enjoy this book because it opens up new projects that i never would have thought of. It mite be basic to some but its a cool start to someone just starting like me.

I bought this book knowing virtually nothing about a scroll saw. I became good enough to make thousands of dollars with my new hobby selling what I make

looking for a basic book, looks great.

My first ever use of the scroll saw and successfully cut most of the suggested pieces in this book first using scrap then a style of true production pieces. Follow the instructions and there is little margin for error and have now moved on to more complex pieces using the saw, but never forgetting my first book on the subject.

英語版ではありましたが、表紙絵からもう少し写真や作品例、図面等があると思い注文しました。文字の方が多く少しがっかりでした。
