South Shore Vito Bookcase Headboard, Pure Black, Pure White

This was not that easy to put together only because I did it all on my own. Would have been much easier with a couple of extra hands. The quality of this is realy nice and the main reason that I chose this one was due to the company talkng about how well they package for shipping. The LAST thing I wanted to do was repack and ship back because something was damaged in shipping. Great value for the price.

This is fantastic. My teenage assembled this on her own. I went to help her and she was just about done. Clear instructions, sturdy product. Easily recommend!

I got this headboard a while back for my daughter's new bed since there was no head board that came with it. It was easy to assemble and had a very clean and charming look. It was a perfect fit with her bed but we did notice that there were some things that bugged her, such as that where the shelves ended and there was one tall shelf where we could place things such as alarm clocks or a lamp but the one thing that was annoying is that the cord would stick out, making it an eye sore. I would suggest making it to where there was a hole on that shelf so that you could store these cords. And in the pictures it shows how you can see the two shelves that are stacked on top of each other, but it is hard to show the top shelf let alone find stuff that fits in it. Last but not least it is incredibly unstable. When my daughter was trying to move the headboard to plug in an extension cord to use the hole that was provided to use cords. The leg of the head board snapped. My husband had to put wood planks to help support it and not break so we could still savage the hundred dollar headboard. Over all, not impressed. I expected more from this.

We have other headboards/beds from South Shore which were super easy to assemble. This one was difficult and came with some chipped pieces. Also, the portion that attaches to the bed was a cheapy plastic little wedge and a screw. To make matters worse, it does not line up to fit the bed! We just left it unattached

This was the third piece I have purchased from South Shore. The second piece was the bed frame that goes with this headboard. They both came with broken pieces and parts that do not fit together at all. We spent half the day putting it all together and just got too tired and frustrated to disassemble it to return it. (Which I’m sure they bank on that knowing that most people do not have the bandwidth to take it apart, repackage it and return it). The bed is for our 5 years old so we reinforced it to make it safe and will be throwing it out in a few years. It’s particle board junk. I won’t buy from South Shore again.

Great headboard - perfectly white, perfect shape and fast delivery. Easy to put together and looks great in my girls room.

Great bookcase. The bed part of it is sold separately. All in all I brought both pieces and my daughter loved it.

Beautiful bed and headboard. We bought both the Vito headboard and mates bed. They assembled easily and look great. They are well made.

Easy to build and very nice finished product. I did receive a piece that was damaged but the customer support was very helpful and shipped my the piece overnight at no cost to me.

I am now going to have to paint the front part white as pre drilled holes were on the wrong side and front bottom is brown and will show.

Looks great and really finishes off the look of the bed. Easy to put together.
