I was thinking like a mall ninja at the time.
I would only recommend this sight for people who shoot national match style AR-15 rifles. However, I've heard that NM competitions require full iron sights so at best this thing would be relegated for a long range hobby rifle. I wouldn't use this for any serious duty use. The reason why is because it may sound like it be nice to pick up the front dot when light conditions are low and what not, but in reality the fiber optic is so small that in low light, it doesn't work very well. Also, if you use this on a rifle with a red dot, I would recommend using it on a flip up front sight. The reason why is because if you have this on a fixed front sight and a red dot, you're going to see two red dots and possibly get confused.

Solid install, works well for me
Installed this on the 45 Degree Offset Backup Iron Sights By Ozark Armament for AR Style Rifles Picatinny Mount. Other reviews have mentioned this wobbles. It comes with an detent for proper installation (attached photo; Ozark original on the left, Sightlink on the right). Notice the top notch is a little thicker and taller. I had to file the diameter down a little so it fits securely to the top index wheel. Applied some Hoppe's lub oil and it popped right up. Resulting in a solid install. The big dot side of Ultra-Match .050" is barely big enough for my eyes. If I buy another, I'd probably get the .060 match or .070 mil spec sight. I would definitely recommend.

Money Wasted
Don't waste your money on this sight. I make my living as a shooting range owner, firearms instructor and gunsmith and have for many years. This sight, at least the one I got, is a total waste of time and money. When it is installed, the sight post wobbles. The sight is made with 2 adjustment wheels so you can rotate the top portion independently so the fiber optic is aligned properly. However, the fit is so poor that the index pin allows the top portion to wobble thus constantly vary the sight alingment.I did attempt to install this sight on an A1 model, perhaps that is the problem. Their product description did not indicate the sight would not workI cannot understand how this sight has gotten the ranking it has received. For me, it is a definite NO BUY recommendation.

improved my shot grouping instantly
I had a hard time seeing my factory front sight, and my 50 yd grouping was about 1 1/2 inches. After I installed this sight, my grouping improved to about 3/4 of an inch at 50 yds from a sandbag. The red sight is easily visible for me even on a bright sunny day. The sight comes with a removal/ adjustment tool, and spare fiber optic line. The sight has a small dot side and a large dot side. It was very easy to install, the sight comes with detailed instructions, and two different size detents, my Colt AR 15A4 used the smaller detent. It took less than 5 minutes to install, and 15 rounds to re-zero. I am extremely happy with it, its a great option for the price and for those of us that prefer iron sights. I would recommend all day long.

Good Sight for iron sight users
I put this on my 3-gun rifle for use in Tactical Irons division. This sight helps when overcast conditions are present and you have brown targets against a clay dirt backstop. Faster sight acquisition. I have used these on more than one rifle.

It's loose and wobbles around.
It wobbles rotationally. If it didn't do that, it would be great, but as-is, it's just annoying. The either the included detent is too small or the grooves cut in the sight base are too big.I would not recommend it.

These really improve visibility!
These new front posts really make a great improvement to my sight picture. You can change post sizes as well as color to suit your taste or environment. I now have this on two of my AR's.
