How many times have you come across a situation where say you are stirring something in a vessel on the gas stove and you have to remove the stirrer because you want to put a cover on the vessel. At this moment, most probably you will have no place to keep that stirrer which has food and gravy on its one end. You are forced to put it near the stove or your kitchen counter.You need this silicone spoon rest for dealing with such situations. These are made of food grade silicon and are very soft. In fact if you handle them on its loop end, it will droop / fall on the other side. In the package, you get 3 such silicon spoon rests with color as green, yellow and red. I have given some pics to show its approximate size with respect to size of a stirrer and a spoon.This spoon rest is dishwasher safe for top rack but it is so easy to clean, I would suggest to simply keep for few seconds in running water. The maximum temperature it can withstand is 482 Fahrenheit so hot spoon / stirrer will not cause any damage to it. With 3 attractive colors, it will definitely add a coolness factor to your kitchen. These are a great product!! I was so pleased as soon as I opened that package! There are so much bigger in person to me. Not too big where it will take up all the counter space but big enough that it is appropriate to put what you need on it. The colors are vibrant and pretty. They are very light and easy to move however not so light where they just move around everywhere. I absolutely love using these in the kitchen! They are practical and useful! I would recommend these to anyone who cooks on a regular to semi regular basis! They really are a great asset to have in the kitchen. I am very pleased with the product that I received. Neat to the kitchen and easy to wash.. Very convenient everytime I'm cooking.. before I always used paper plate but now this one is a good thing to try..
