I grew up right outside NYC where you can find some of the best food in the entire world, and there isn't a shortage of wonderful food and spices from around the globe. I got used to certain things! When I moved to a different state away from the east coast I could no longer find Maggi in supermarkets. Very disappointing! And I feel sad for all the people in the middle of the country who probably have never tasted this salty wonderfully aromatic seasoning! I used to love this on steak but don't eat meat anymore... Now I use it in a marinade we put on portabello mushrooms before throwing them on the grill. They are amazing and just do not taste the same without Maggi!

Maggi is the best all round food seasoning: can use in place of soy sauce on anything, great on rice, also on just about any kind of meat. Been using it for thirty years, and it is sometimes hard to find in local stores.

The pack I got was a little darker and a little richer than what I normally get from my Asian market. Overall the flavor was there so not going to complain about too much of that!

It is very hard to find at local stores. Adds flavor to gravies and much more. My German mom used to use and love the flavor . So happy I can order it on line.
