Memorable lady and memorable thoughts she shared
So grateful Madeleine Albright wrote this book, her memoir. We can learn so much from this special lady whom we so recently lost. Every chapter has lessons and insight as well as amusing episodes. I hope everyone reads and learns from reading 'Hell and Other Destinations', especially as the world today so desperately needs such a great mind and spirit as well as a sense of humor.

She's Been There and They Know It!
Typically, for me, I nodded off now and then during the first 25% of this memory trip as she took me through her upbringing. However, once she got into action, I did too! And she was, indeed, a woman of action as she trotted across the globe representing us with a wide array of leaders that are historical today. Exposed to their thoughts, whims, notions, petty desires/demands, our "lady" became as tough or more so of any in the handling of our affairs. Still today, she is robust in what she does, in what she represents. Never content to sit back and rest, whenever her nation or those of the civilized world needs her, Secretary Albright will be there. At the forefront is what one should expect when she meets the call.

Insights into recent history and continuing up to the present
If you are interested in insights into history that you personally lived through this book is one you will love. The early chapters are about Ms. Albright's own family, life and education and these are interesting enough since her family escaped the Nazis and the the Communists to land in America as refugees, a timely thought provoking situation. The interesting history begins with Ms. Albright's working life in government service and provides interesting insights into the Clinton administration. Her continuing work after public service is as fascinating as her government work and continues to provide insights into world events. Overall this book is very much with reading.

Great book!
Again, after reading five of her other books this one did not disappoint. I am fascinated with Madeleine Albright for her tireless energy, wealth of knowledge, all her accomplishments & her inspiring life. Great book! If I could have a day with anyone famous it would have to be her. What an incredible human being.

Unassuming real leadership from the first female US Secretary of State. Great reading!!
Margaret Albright’s memoirs are unparalleled. She reflects on world affair while making it personal as her life intersects her narrative. It is a learning experience from a gifted yet unassuming mind. The first female US Secretary of State is capable of making fun of herself while reflecting on world affairs. It was a breeze to read but had great substance. I recommend it 100%. Now, I am intrigued in reading her “Read My Pins: Stories from a Diplomat's Jewel Box”.

Am Amazing Woman
It is said you can't keep a good woman down - Madelaine Albright, a one time Secretary of State in the Bill Clinton administration is an oxtagenarian and there's certainly no keeping her down. She's led a fascinating life and at 82 is still leading a fascinating and full life. Fortunately she's put it all down in words in her latest book Hell and Other Destinations. I commend this as a first class read.
