I bought this for my grandparents to help them get out of bed, as well as stop them/prevent them from falling out of bed. Hooks up real easy, but definitely need two people. The strap goes under the mattress. The bar that rests on the box spring can be felt from the mattress. That is something to contend with if you have a thinner mattress.Overall this works and does what it was meant to do.

I bought one for my elderly parent and had a concern that it made the bed mattress weaker on the one side of the bed after time (even rotating the mattress didn't help). I decided not to re-purchase this product again. It might work for others but not for my elderly parent.

Now I don't have to search for my remotes and glasses. The sleeve is tight and hard to install. I used a tiny amount of WD40 spray and it slid right on.

Great, great product. My mother was in a very bad car accident which she sustained fractured hip, neck,skull, back and severed liver. The purchase of this product assisted my mom with getting in and out of bed without our assistance. We simply assembled the product in less than five minutes and placed it under the mattress. The only complaint, which is really not a complaint or concern, we did no receive the strap advertised. The rail was secured without it.
