Incredibly small and light, yet covers two people
Thrilled to see how small and light this really is! Opened and inspected (for holes because of one reviewers comments, found none). Little loops all over bottom to secure if needed. Pouch has small pocket to separate the tiny aluminum pole (2 person model) from the netting. Best of all...it all went back into the tiny stuff sack just like it came! I am so use to outdoor products not going back in stuff sacks without mega squashing. I got with insect shield because have shirts and pants with it, and it does keep bugs off you. I assume it will keep them from sitting on the net, at least for the first summer. Bought for a back country Canada trip this summer. To reviewer who had holes and complained about poor response from companies customer service - that's why we buy from Amazon! Return label is a click away with free shipping back if you have an issue. My first choice is always Amazon for that reason (assuming price close, etc.), awesome return policy lets you buy without the risk of defects, wrong stuff, misrepresented etc.

Good thing is that the handing point is off center
A net is a net. Good thing is that the handing point is off center. This means that the highest point os at your chest /shoulders area. So you are not touching is constantly while trying to sit up. Is it worth almost 50$ versus e.g.15$ for similar one from Walmart....I'm not so sure. The insect shield it was treated with is nothing else but Permithrin (13$ in camping sections in most stores) if you buy a bottle you can treat not only the 15$ net but other gear. I always buy premium products but Im not so convicted if this was worth it.

Great protection
I used this in Minnesota in the summer during which time the locals couldn't believe the size and sheer number of mosquitoes that were out (they had a very late start to the spring). The net itself is very soft to the touch and rolls/squishes up nicely so that I could actually get it back into the bag. It comes with a folding rod (like the ones for tents but much smaller and thinner) with elastic inside to keep it together. This rod slides easily into its pocket to keep the shape of the net. There is a very long string attached to this that can be tied to anything high and keep the net lifted above you. I actually used a 3M Command removable hook- the kind that sticks to the wall and you can pull off when you're finished using it. I attached it to the ceiling of our cabin and hung the net at the correct height. It worked like a charm. Well, we did catch a mosquito inside it once but quickly realized and kicked him out! We didn't get bitten once!I will be using it again without question and will order more if the need arises.

I don't have special fingers like majority of the population
This helped me not catch a disease while on a dental mission trip! But two minutes after setting it up I realized there was a small hole... This NANO superfine net is almost too small of material. Needs special fingers to properly use without ripping.. I don't have special fingers like majority of the population. If I ripped it you will too!

Using this completely ruined me on bug bivy's! I ...
Using this completely ruined me on bug bivy's! I will only use this in my tarp now. It's somewhat fragile, but just be a little careful. Unless i'm in an area with ticks, I will use this thing. No brainer.

Keep your sanity if tarp camping
Kept my sanity when hiking the Oregon PCT. Never seen mosquitoes so bad. I used with with a Zpacks Hexamid Solo tarp, clipping it to the apex and corners--it worked perfectly. Lighter than their netting. Don't know if the Insect Shield (permethrin) did anything.

picture of the Net is deceptive and Not of the Net they sell
If I could give it 0 stars I would. The picture of the Net looked like It has a base and is a sealed net , but it is not.The picture is of Another net or a generic pictur. I would Not recommend this and. Frankly want to return it. Useless product

Actual weight = 4.85 ounces
Point of clarification: the Amazon description lists this as 2.9 ounces but it actually weighs 4.85 ounces.
