Hold the weight
Highly recommended.Area:I have this situated between my living room and kitchen passing. It is high enough and out of the way for everyone..Observation:Does absolutely no damage to the wall and when I say it holds the weight... it holds the weight. For my leg lifts I use bar straps to hold me.. no slippage, no creeking noises, no close calls. Very durable, very sturdy, very easy to install. Took 3 min to install. My process:I am 5'6 and 225lb so I'm a thick one and trying to loose weight. I know best training is with your own body weight. I started off not being able to do one pull up. Now I am doing 3 sets of 15 , 3x a day. And 1 set of 25 leg lifts 3x a day. Along with carb cycling and jump rope for cardio.Eventually I will plateau my sets at 20 pull ups / 50 leg lifts with alternating on the type of pull ups to target areas.Results:3 weeks later I am still 5'6, but now I weigh 190 lbs. And wow... muscle definition in my chest arms and shoulders. Still have a gut but it has reduced and old favorite shirts that didn't fit... its getting there.Final words:I purchase from Amazon excessively and I never write a review, even when it's a horrible purchase experience. But that's how pleased I am with this product. I had to speak on it.

Good quality
This is a great chin up bar. It's fairly easy to install and feels very solid and sturdy. I like the design of the pull up bar and also its materials. It let me feel pretty sturdy because of its weight and also the mechanical structure.Compared with other pull up bars this one is more safe and stable. Please pay attention to the measures of the places you want to install it.Overall good quality . The metal bar itself is heavy and feels sturdy. There is no flex when hanging from the bar. The plastic 'mounting' mechanisms appear to be well made and of good quality plastic. just used it once so far but right away there is no slip if properly installed. It's a great quality bar and I am enjoying my work outs so far. Definitely recommend as long as you have a solid door jam.

Hardest silicone I've ever felt!
Update: from 3 up to 4 stars.Though concerned about the grip of this bar, it is SOLID.I only have 1 "complaint", the collars to lock down the bar have threads far too long and can easily damage your hand if you aren't very intentional on hand placement. I expect a little trim and finishing work and that's an easy solve.Definitely recommended!Original review:Set up was fairly easy, bar comfortably supports my weight (270ish).But i had serious doubts when i first got the bar out, the "silicone" antiskid pads are so hard I expected them to slide right off the doorframe! As I use it more, if there are no issues or the pads soften, I'll update the review, but I'm still a skeptic on how well it'll stay in place.

Very Satisfied
The bar is sturdy, super easy to take on and off, its held up to its weight, the grip pads on the sides that hold it against the door frame are super grippy and it comes with a level that's very helpful. the box came with no damages. It brought my buds and I closer for sure. So far, I'd estimate the bar has withstood well over 10,000 pull ups (multiple guys using it of course).

Does Not Hold Up
I needed to use the bar on a wide textured door arch. To get it tight, you need to grind the plastic ends into the walls. I was willing to damage the wall texturing a bit to make it work. But it never held up. For short periods I could dead hang for a minute or so, and I only weigh 165 lbs, well within load bearing distance. But fail after fail. I waited until Christmas to see if one of my kids could figure out how to make it work, but no luck. The instruction manual such as it is, states that "we won't rest until you are satisfied" and " if there is anything different than what you expected please reach out to us". Emailed the company twice over several weeks, no response whatsoever. Going to try to return to Amazon.

Heavy Duty Pull-Up Bar
I received my doorway pull-up bar and I installed it, immediately. Installation was simple. You just rotate the bar to the correct width and pressure, lock it in with the clamps that are on each end, using the included Allen wrench. There is even a bubble level on the bar to help with installation. I am over 200lbs and it worked perfectly!

it works, but dangerous and will damage your door
It is certainly a sturdy product and it does work. but please be very careful of damage to the doorway and yourself. SInce it is pushing force outward horizontally, it damages your wooden doorframes a lot! also, because eventually the wooden doorframe gives way, there is danger in falling. I am about 200 pounds and i was very cautious at first expecting to fall. After 3-4 weeks it hadnt fallen and i became complacent. I was pointing my toes downward and very relaxed when doing pull ups and the bar fell - i landed very suddenly and unexpectedly with relaxed pointed toes and got injured. left big toe broken and right big toe badly sprained. I reinstalled and i still use it - but now I make sure to re-tighten it often and i always am expecting to fall so I keep my feet in a flat position where if i fall i wont break my toes again. So, overall - yes, it works but please be careful.

Overall it's great
Its solid. Bought this one last time and left it behind at my old apartment for my roommates to use. Got another one for the new place, consistent quality and design. It works well but will for sure damage your doorframe over time

Tore Paint Straight Off
The product itself works as intended but I had it installed on a door frame and on also in a corridor between two beams running upward to properly support it, unfortunately this tears the paint straight off of whatever surface you use and leaves marks in the striped pattern you can see on the sides. Most of the pull up bars that you see advertised with similar gravity based resistance can do this without damage, this was extremely disappointing.

It can damage your doors
Our return window has closed but when using it inside the house between the doors, it creates a lot of pressure which damaged our doors. If you don’t put the pressure then there is fair chance that it will comes down and you can harm yourself.
