It works and is a make do sharpener but doesn’t last long if you use it a lot . That said a real diamond wheel is £200 and up so maybe a disposable wannabe is not so bad

Wheel itself is good, grinds tungsten electrodes and tools as expected. However the centre is plastic, which is ok, but its not central to the outside of wheel. Fortunately, I have a lathe big enough to re bore and make an adaptor bush. But other people may run into trouble with fitment and vibration.

The centre was bigger than my grinder shaft so I turned a brass bushing exactly true, fitted the wheel and it wobbled.Then I realised the actual ring with the diamond is press fitted to the centre. So if you tap it in the right places you can true it up. It now spins perfectly and puts a perfect edge on my drills and lathe tooling.

I purchased this as a cheaper alternative to the named brands which retail in the £000sI got the lower grit for profiling my wood turning bowl gouges. It really hogs the metal away but go little and often as I found the metal got hot and risked losing temperDelivery was a bit slow but it was free from China

The bore isn't half inch it's too big.

The wheel runs true and is well balance. I use this to sharper tool steel for my lathe, also wood chisels. It’s well worth the money I’ve not looked back
